Home away from Home

I stayed at Josephine's place for my Travel assignment from September 2025 to January 2026. I was sad because I couldn't travel back home to my family for Christmas due to the government shutdown but. I thought I was going to miss all the little things that I would do during the holidays like putting up my Christmas tree and hanging stockings but, She made it so homey for me I do not know when they did but when I got home she had put up a beautiful Christmas tree well decorated and decorated the other parts of the house she always had special treats for us well like Apple pie, chocolate etc. during the snow time her husband came by and made sure the snow was cleaned off my truck before I would get ready for work. I guess what I am trying to say is that they she made the house feel more like a home away from home, then a rental. The area is quite and everything is close by. I hardly had any reasons to call her for but, when I did, she was always a phone call away. Thank you Josephine.

Great Place to Stay in Bridgeport, CT

I have many positive things to say about the property and the owner. First, the property is situated on a central area in Bridgeport. If you are travelling health care provider, the place is best suited for you since it is the middle of the two big hospitals in bridgeport. Secondly, it is more than complete with amenities that you could find in a home. You will feel like you are home away from home. Thirdly, the property owner is very kind, generous, treats you like a family and is very responsive to inquiries. I could tell alot of good things about this property but it wouldnt fit on this page. I had a very homey year-long stay on this place.

Fantastic Stay!

The landlords are very nice and welcoming they treat me as one of their own which is very helpful for someone like me who just came to the city recently. The place is very convenient , they have good wifi, kitchen wares and just 8 minutes drive to my work place. All in all I was very satisfied with my stay here. It was amazing and superb . 10000/10. Cozy Lodging

I had a great stay in this accommodation. Dealing with the owners is a pleasure as they are very kind. The home is cozy, and it has all the essential appliances for daily living.

Best Landlord Ever!

I was fortunate enough to have found this room for my first travel assignment at Bridgeport Hospital. I was nervous about living in a new town far from home but from the beginning, J and R treated me like family. Whenever there were any issues they would always resolve them right away. The dryer for the laundry wasn't working and within 2 days, it was replaced! The house has everything you could possibly need and is kept very meticulously clean. The location is in a safe area of Bridgeport and is very near many local hospitals. They were always so kind and would frequently leave me Filipino food to enjoy. J and R made it easier for me to acclimate to an unknown area. It was truly a pleasure to spend 1 year in their beautiful home. Don't hesitate booking this room, you won't regret it.

I was lucky to find this property during my search for accommodation to stay in Bridgeport, Ct. for my assignment . The owners made me feel at home and it was just that. They are very pleasant, friendly, and caring as if I was a family member. The house is well kept with all utilities in perfect working condition. There is plenty of space to move around. It is well located to everything including my work place. I hope that if I have the opportunity to go back to that area, that will be my first choice of contact. Thank you for been such a wonderful experience while staying in your beautiful house, and your kindness and tolerance for the three months I stayed there. Joseph.

Amazing owner.

The owner Josephine and her husband are amazing people. Always checked up on me to make sure my stay was going well. Their house is very clean. If I ever asked for anything they fixed/looked into it right away. During the summer, it got so hot and I had no idea why the AC was not working. Josephine came straight to the house on her way from work to check it out which was really impressive. Their house was at a great location for my assignment. Took me about 3 minutes to get to st Vincent hospital. I will definitely rent here again if my assignment is in the bridgeport, CT area.

Clean and Convenient

I stayed here while working an assignment at St. Vincent's. The house is very clean and convenient to the hospital. The host Josephine and her husband were very quick to fix any issue (refrigerator died) They were very nice and checked in to make sure I was comfortable and needed anything. Especially nice were he washer and dryer so handy. I would rent from Josephine again
