Wonderful Rental

I stayed at this beautiful house for three months on a contract as a travel healthcare worker. It was my very first time in Alaska and the beginning of my travel career; I was very lucky that I contacted the owner and let me tell yall: Miss Jen is a wonderful person!! She was so nice to pick me up from the airport and taking me home on her own; I didnt have to ask. She goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable just like at home! All the little details and amenities she provides is what you would want to have at your own place. I had two female roommates and they were also professionals and quiet just like me. I highly recommend this place which is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I can't wait to go back!! Thank you miss Jen!!

Great place to stay in an awesome neighborhood

I lived at this property for almost 3 years, and it was a wonderful place to live. Jen is a fantastic landlord. The house is in a very safe neighborhood and great part of town. The house itself is wonderful and has great backyard, and just a short walk to the lake. Highly recommend renting from Jen!

Amazing AK rental

I am so grateful for this rental experience. Jen is absolutely amazing and her home is fantastic! Spacious, warm... and has a hot tub! The location is ideal. Such a safe and friendly neighborhood that is located near a lake, just a few minutes away from the airport, grocery stores, and to Kincaid park. Jen is also a fantastic landlord and if any issues arise she is very responsive. I highly recommend this rental and would stay here again myself! It very quickly became home and I will miss it. Felt like home!

Wonderful house situated in a nice, safe neighborhood in Anchorage. When I wasnt working or out exploring everything Alaska has to offer, I spent my time relaxing at J's property. Whether it was a cool winter night in the hot tub on the back deck, hanging out by the lake out off the dock in the backyard in the spring wondering if any of the neighborhood moose were going to pass by, or just relaxing for a night in, I always felt safe and at home. I rented my truck as well from J and her husband and it was the best vehicle I could have asked for to do all of my adventuring in Alaska! I loved coming home after the cleaning services had come by, and J was always just a phone call or text away if I ever needed anything, including just a recommendation for things to do. I cant speak highly enough about my 4 months spent here and I have such fond memories here! Id absolutely stay again given the chance to come back!

Coming to Anchorage? STAY ON DELONG DRIVE. Beautiful, clean home with an incredible owner and anything you might need or want. This has to be the best value for price in Anchorage.

I cannot overstate how amazing this rental is. Every friend who came over for dinner soak in the hottub was incredibly jealous that I had found this place. The owner, Jen, is a former travel nurse herself. She is simultaneously responsible and a lot of fun. She seems to have thought of every detail. And she is very helpful. For example, I did a halibut charter and unexpectedly caught 60 lbs of fish -- in two days, Jen had found a new deep freezer for the garage! I thought this place seemed too good to be true -- but it is all as-advertised :) The house was very recently renovated and is in much better condition (and much cuter/more stylish!) than most places in Anchorage. The garage is full of outdoor gear and Jen is always happy to lend it out and answer questions. A great housekeeper comes twice a month. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. I cannot recommend this rental enough. If I moved back to Alaska, I would want to stay here until I could buy my own place :)

Such An Amazing Home

I stayed in the Delong House while on assignment in Anchorage and I didn't want to leave! Living here made my winter experience in Alaska worth it. The master bedroom was spacious, the mattress was very comfy and warm. The house has everything you will need for your stay in Alaska, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of towels in the bathroom. I had a few opportunities to see moose in the back and front yard and the neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. Jennifer is awesome and always available. She made sure that I had a true Alaskan experience and set up a dog sledding activity for me (she also had gear to keep me warm). Really appreciate that she has opened her home to travelers, I definitely considered this place home and look forward to returning in the summer.

Best place to stay

Jen is great she makes sure you have everything you will need and them some. If you need help don't hesitate to call her. Makes you feel very welcomed and can make some suggestions of fun to do around the area. House and location is a plus as well. I will miss my stay there

Home sweet home!

I rented this property last summer while on contract in Anchorage. I enjoyed staying here so very much for so many reasons! It immediately felt at home and very clean/comfortable. It is tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood, with a walking trail right at the end of the cul-de-sac. The professional cleaning was such an added bonus, so I never had to worry about sharing cleaning responsibilities with the other tenant. I also didn't have to worry about lugging up kitchen ware to AK, the kitchen was stocked. Highly recommend to any one heading up North, you won't be disappointed :)
