Charming Studio

Great place

I stayed here for about three months during my internship in San Mateo, and it was a great experience overall. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made a long stay feel easy and stress-free. The location was very convenient—close to public transportation, grocery stores, and restaurants—making daily commuting simple. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, perfect for focusing on work while still having plenty of options nearby to unwind after the day. The host was very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions, which I really appreciated during a longer stay. Overall, this was an excellent choice for an extended stay or internship in San Mateo. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to stay for a few months.

Review from my experience over the summer

I stayed here for around 3 months for my summer internship in San Mateo. My stay was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Additionally, the location was great - groceries (Safeway, CVS, etc) were only about a 5 minute walk away, close to the Caltrain station, and close to other restaurants in the area. Cynthia was a great host, whenever I had a question she was quick to respond, made sure I had everything I needed, and provided me with additional info when something came up. Would highy recommend this place!

Best home away from home!

This studio is perfect for a travel nurse! I stayed here for several months in 2024. The location is super convenient and quiet. It is very close to the highway and downtown Burlingame. The neighborhood is very safe and walkable. Loved getting to spend my days off exploring the area and resting after long shifts. 10/10 would recommend.

Charming abode!

During my two-month stay at this place, I found it to be incredibly cozy and charming! Sue, the host, was exceptionally kind, easygoing, and made me feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed. The backyard was a lovely spot to relax outdoors, and the neighbors were extremely friendly. It was a pleasant walk to downtown San Mateo, and there were plenty of other local attractions nearby. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would enthusiastically recommend this place to others.

Had a great stay!

Stayed here for the duration of a summer internship in San Mateo as an undergraduate student, and had a very comfortable stay. The unit offered me everything I needed, and the neighborhood is charming, reasonably walkable, and safe. Close to a Safeway, a bus stop, and a couple really nice parks. C is great and accommodated my every need. Highly recommended!

All in One

This private In-Law Suite is quiant, quiet and conveniant. This little space has everything you need; private access, a beautiful fenced backyard, a comfortable bed with linens, amenable closet space, a cozy living area with love seat/coffee table/two chair dinette set, TV, a small practical kitchenette with microwave/toaster oven/two burner stovetop/small refrigerator/some cooking utensils and place settings/single cup coffee maker, a full bathroom and a laundry unit on site/some cleaning supplies and vaccum available. This has been a very enjoyable and uneventful stay. Cynthia, the landlord, has been a wonderful host! In the event that you might need something or have questions, Cynthia replies immediately! I will miss my little home away from home. I have felt comfortable, safe and secure during my entire stay. Thank you for everything Cynthia!
