Excellent Stay, Great Value, Efficient
I stayed for 3 months in the summer and overall I had an excellent stay. Everything was as described or even better, as this ~240 square feet "efficiency studio" made great use of space and layout, with great storage options in the wall shelves and kitchen, and newly updated facilities. The property owner also generously provided cooking equipment and cleaning supplies, handled matters fairly, and communicated quickly (and even had a printed booklet with all necessary info and food recommendations), which was a very nice touch, especially as I was unfamiliar with the area! Be sure to spend ample time outside as the limited desk space and one window can feel constraining, but the property is so well-located (close to several major bus lines and the light rail, with good neighborhood eats and highly rated coffeeshops for working) and is a reasonable walk/bike/bus distance from UDistrict if you want more variety. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for first-timers!
Ravenna Oasis
I stayed for two months in this adorable basement apartment, and truly wished it could have been longer. J has made great use of the space, creating a lovely little getaway from the city. It is perfect for one person, and includes all the amenities you would need for storing food (sizable fridge and cabinet space) and cooking (hot plate, pots, pans, dishes, cutting boards, and sharp knives). The bathroom/shower combo was so cool, and at 54 I didnt have any issue with the step up or shower head height. The bed and pillows were very comfortable too! I had exclusive privacy with the separate entrance, space to store a few suitcases and my bike (commute to UW was only 2.4 miles). I can imagine this place will stay nice and cool come the summer temperatures! Consider yourself lucky if youre able to snag this beautiful stay.
