Beautiful North Downey Studio

P is a great Landlord, takes great care of the place, very accommodating, works hard to make sure you are comfortable. Stayed here for clinical rotations as a med student for a little over a year. Fair price. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a furnished location temporarily. Respectful neighbors so in return just be respectful. Pay rent on time, you will never have any issues and P will take care of any concerns. Close to I-5, many grocery stores, and restaurants. Downey is a great safe place to live. The place is a fair size, cooking will make the place heat up in the summer, but with an A/C unit on shouldn't have any problems. Will miss the location.

Studio style apartment with private bathroom/shower has its own entrance off a covered patio adjoining a large backyard with an orange tree. Queen-size bed/pillows are very comfortable. Large screen TV, cable, wifi, A/C, ceiling fan. Kitchenette area has plates, bowls, utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, storage, large sink, washer and dryer. Landlord is a friendly and honest guy. Two thumbs up!

The room is a great fit for any traveler working any shift. I was working night shift slept well during the day. P is the best landlord ever. He helped me take care of my dogs while I slept and worked. He is extremely kind person and very understanding. Felt very safe! I walked my dogs to a park a lot. The area is very nice. Gym was so close and target/walmart/ grocery stores all near by! Very worth it. 10/10 recommend. Will come back if I need to.

Purpose: I am a travel nurse from Florida. I typically work in Cali for 2-3 weeks at a time. Stay: 14 days Host: Peter is very nice. Gives you "Favorite Uncle" vibes lol His little dog is very sweet as well : ) Check In: Very quick and easy. Received a quick property tour and keys within 15 minutes. Outside: The property is easy to enter and exit. Street parking always available Not a busy road. Inside: The entire place was just the right size. Minimalist style, no extra clutter. There are 2 units. My unit did not have a kitchenette inside, but mini fridge and wet bar available outside. Neighborhood: Appears to be very safe. Mainly working class or retired individuals The location is EXTREMELY convenient! Gym, shopping, gas, etc. less than 5 minutes away -Extras: Free laundry on-site and reasonable Deposit -Check-out: seamless 5 minute walk-thru. I will most likely be returning : )))

I'm a repeat tenant at this studio. It truly is an great apartment to stay in. Perfect for travel nurses. P (the owner) is an amazing land lord. He's very accommodating and treats my dog like his own. Great yard if you do have a 4 legged travel buddy. It's pretty centralized and in a great neighborhood. If this place, or the other studio he owns are available, you need to jump on them. I will always check here first when coming back to Los Angeles.

I stayed here for a bit over 3 months while working a contract at Kaiser Downey and have zero complaints. The studio is simple but has all the essentials, and it's in a nice neighborhood. There's a sizeable yard and cute little patio (with laundry) on the property too. Peter was a very considerate and responsive host throughout my stay, and I enjoyed my occasional brief run-ins with his sweet little dog too. I will note that the bathroom is very tiny, though this didn't bother me. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if work brought me back to the area.
