Home Away from Home

Kelly and her family made me feel right at home. Not only are they responsive to your needs, but truly kind and welcoming people, which can be rare nowadays. Location is perfect -- few minutes walk to the T with ample street parking if you have a car. Orient Heights is a neighborhood I've felt comfortable and safe in all times of day.

Convenient and Friendly

The apartment is HUGE. One bed, fit two people comfortably. Private front entry door. The best part was the people; they're wonderfully kind. They left a birthday gift at the door and brought fresh eggs from their chickens. A close second was the animals: chickens, a dog, and 3 wonderful cats that liked to stop by the front door to the apartment for some pets. Negatives: no central A/C, but we survived the summer. Landlord provided window A/C & dehumidifier which kept the bedroom comfortable w/fan. No range, but landlord provided a two-burner induction stove, and we brought a toaster oven. I like to cook, and did not feel worried about the lack of a full sized oven. Would have loved a range, but wasnt a problem. As landlords, exceptionally responsive to our needs, resolved maintenance issues quite efficiently. I've never had a landlord so respectful of privacy, and the family was the quietest upstairs neighbor Ive had.

easy access to public transport

I stayed at this property during my assignment in boston. The property had most of what i needed, i did have to buy a few kitchen items and closet storage containers. Parking was a problem, but thats more of a Boston thing, not the properties fault. I really liked that the Blue line is right there in front of the house, really convenient. Also deer island is right there with really nice views of the Boston skyline. K and R are wonderful and are very attentive to any needs you may have. I would be willing to stay here again if i come back to Boston.

Great location with a great price!

Amazing location! Right next to the Orient Heights Blue Line stop on the T. Very accessible to downtown and the medical district of Boston. If you dont have a car this is the place to stay. If you do though, street parking is still available as well as paid parking at Orient Heights station. The landlord is very responsive and accommodating to all needs. I stayed here for almost an entire year because of how much I loved it. I travel independently as a female. I never felt unsafe in this neighborhood!

Nurse Princess' Stay in Boston

K and her family were amazing! She went above and beyond for me. She made sure I navigated safely around the city, was available every time I reached out and comforted me on Mothers day during a very trying time. She was more than a hostess, she treated me like family. I was truly blessed to have found her. I felt safe, in included and very much welcomed. She would definitely be the first person I contact if I ever take another assignment in Boston. I highly recommend her to any traveler. I traveled solo to Boston, but never felt lonely thanks to K and her family. She was definitely a God send. Good hearted people are hide to find and I tell you this lady has a heart of gold.

Fantastic Stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this stay! K and her family were very welcoming and friendly from the beginning! Always offering to help in any way needed, providing any and all recommendations, and she was so quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The area is quiet and safe which was important to me being a young female traveling solo. I never felt afraid when taking my dog out at night, no matter the time. The place is the perfect size for someone traveling to Boston. You have complete privacy with the only shared space being the laundry room, which was no issue at all. I also enjoyed the short 2-3 min walk to the blue line, which made my commute to MGH, or just into the city, very easy and quick. I would recommend this place to anyone doing a travel assignment in Boston.

Home away from home

Great location! 4 min walk to Blue Line Orient Height station. Neighborhood is safe and somewhat quiet despite being close to the airport. You can hear low flying airplane when your apartment is completely quiet and you have VERY good hearing. This is rare as the apartment is not on the main fly path. Plenty of OVERNIGHT street parking across the street, down the street, and around the corner. Some good cozy restaurants around. The apartment itself is great! Super spacious and clean. Plenty of room for my doggie to run around. Theres also a fenced yard that you can use to let your doggies go potty. Laundry room is easily accessible. Kelly is an amazing host who communicates great. Shes very respectful and helpful. She even offers to help let my doggie out when I have to stay over for work. Highly recommend this place!

Treated like Family

From the moment that I moved into the apartment K an her family treated me and my beloved dog just like we was part of the family. If I ever needed anything K was just a phone call or text away. I loved that there was a beach, transportation and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Retail stores, grocery stores and another beach not even 30 minutes by car. The view at night was lovely and you might think that you wouldn't be able to watch tv, sleep or relax inside the house because of the airport being close by with planes flying into and out of the the airport but your wrong. I didn't hear a thing which was great especially since I worked doubles. I would sit outside at night to relax an watch the planes fly in and out of the airport. I would definitely stay here again if I have another assignment in the Boston or surrounding area.

A Gem in the midst of Boston!

Kelly's place was amazing and I can't stress that enough. Pictures don't do justice! This majestic historic looking house is located RIGHT NEXT to the Orient train station that easily takes you to Cambridge, Harvard Square, Boston Common in 15 min..everything needed for the type of sights you want as a traveling medical professional. The place is SUPER clean, no surprises at all!! Kelly really cares about your comfort, and that's rare to come by as a traveler! More than accommodating and really friendly, her place was like a second home away from my hometown in LA. I highly recommend.
