Nice apartment in great location

A very nice apartment in a peaceful, safe and beatiful neighborhood. Comfortable, well stocked, and with all the amenities we could need for our stay. The landlord was very attentive and responsive to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit and would love to repeat in the future!

Quiet, Comfortable Place, Great Location

Very comfortable apartment with a peek-a-boo water view. Nice balcony overlooking peaceful neighborhood. Very well-stocked (high quality Kitchen-Aid brand pots and pans!). Communication with the owner was outstanding; when we contacted him at check-in about a minor maintenance issue, he had it fixed immediately. We rarely heard the neighbors at all, and at night it was absolutely silent. An upgrade to the mattresses probably would be a good idea, but the overall comfort, quiet, and location of this apartment is definitely five stars. We look forward to staying here again.

Great rental!

This is a great property and this unit has an amazing view of the sound. The property is clean and other residents are respectful of your space. This unit is in an amazing part of Tacoma. You hear no street noises inside the condo, and mostly see families who walk around the neighborhood. I walked the area often and never felt unsafe. I also parked my car in the designated parking spot, and never had a break-in. The only negative I would say is the bed in the main bedroom. It is hard and I prefer softer. I ended up getting a memory foam topper and that did the trick. I really enjoyed staying in this condo for six month. Property management is also very responsive to any requests or issues. I highly recommend this unit!

fantastic

I was a travel nurse in Washington for assignment. Knowing the troubles Seattle is having with crime and homelessness, I felt VERY safe at Elwood condo. The landlord , R, was very responsive when I would message him too. There are cameras on property which made me feel safe in keeping me and my car safe. Thank you for the last 3 months.

Safe area, great employees, happy stay

I worked at home alone but always felt safe in the building and around the neighborhood. There were a good amount of coffee shops within walking distance and even more cute shops within 10-15 min drive. I enjoyed seeing a small part of the bay from our balcony! R, the point of contact for all things, was extremely responsive and always helpful. The setup of the apartment was slightly different than what was shown in the pictures, but with it being such temporary housing, it wasn't a big deal. (E.g. there were rugs over hardwood instead of carpet, different couches, etc.) But again, wasn't a big deal. The apartment came equipped with the basic essentials for a kitchen. Anytime maintenance was needed, I would text R and he would send the person out within 24 hours. I walked the neighborhood daily and never got tired of looking at the unique houses, or walking down to the Bay to enjoy the water, even in january! I would definitely recommend other travelers to stay here!

Great Place

I really enjoyed my stay at this condo. The neighborhood was very nice, and I always felt safe going on walks. The condo had plenty of space, great natural lighting, quiet and polite neighbors, and all things one would need for a short term stay. R was always available and checked in periodically to see if I needed anything. If I ever find myself back in Tacoma, I hope R has a unit available because I would not hesitate to stay here again!
