Cozy and Walkable

Stayed here for a couple of months and had such a great time. The neighborhood has local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Parking was easy and I was never too far from the unit. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and I had no issues walking to and from the unit in the dark. The space is exactly as pictured! My only suggestions/wishes would be to install a larger living room tv, a comfier couch, and an actual stove. There was A LOT of noise and the little ones were a natural alarm clock but I knew that going in and coming from a large family, it didn't bother me. The backyard space is nice for sitting/working on warmer days. The hosts were also very nice, responsive and helpful. Thank you for sharing your home!

Very Large Space

Huge basement apartment, has everything you'd need, safe neighborhood. Took away one star, because of the noise. This is an ACTIVE family! 2 large dogs, 2 kids, 2 work from home parents, the mother in law, and you're in the basement. Sounded like a track meet every day from 7am to 11:30pm. Their favorite gathering area is directly over your bedroom. I did reach out about it, sent a video of what it sounds like from my perspective, nothing changed, so I left 4 months early. The WiFi was also spotty at times, but I would've stayed if they weren't running around past midnight on a Tuesday. As someone that's up at 5 am and saving lives for 10 hours, I think it's fair to want a couple uninterrupted hours of sleep at night. I would suggest acoustic ceiling tiles or ear plugs for the next person.

Perfect place and location

Beautiful Apartment, private and safe gated entry, wonderful landlords who will allow for as much privacy as you like, while being instantly available and accommodating. I stayed for two consecutive 13 week assignments at Sibley Memorial Hospital on the night shift. Apartment is exactly as advertised and the landlords have fantastic recommendations for local dining and things to see and do around DC. It was an amazing stay and several guests I had visiting from out of town feel the same. I feel blessed to have found it...
