H is Very Hospitable! Neighborhood quiet, safe and close to Target, Walmart, Sams Club, Grocery Store, Walgreens, CVS, Zoo, Library, and Hospitals, etc. 3 dogs are lovable. Enjoyed my travel nurse stay. Hope to do it again!

Great place close to hospitals

I stayed here July 2024 til Dec 2025. The host was great very accommodating. She has 3 sweet dogs that are playful The house is located near SLCH, Barnes and WASHU a 10-15 min drive depending on traffic The host keeps the house cleaned and pretty much all you need to buy are your groceries. I would rate the host a "10" great place to stay !

great stay

Great choice if you want a shared living space. H is very accommodating and keeps the house so very clean. I really liked that about her and the house. It is very affordable and has anything you'll need for a rn travel assignment. The kitchen is stocked w cooking items. It's 12 minute drive to SLU. Safe and clean neighborhood close to 3 parks. 2 minutes from the grocery store and target. Although it has 1 bathroom, it's still an ideal roommate situation for a great price. Thank you!

Hostess is amazing and house it pretty central to lots of things

I enjoyed staying here. The area was nice and pretty central to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. The house is clean and everything is well organized. The hostess was very kind and the dogs are so freaking adorable! If i ever come back to Saint Louis I would not hesitate to contact H. She made me feel right at home. She has great suggestions on things to do in St Louis and places to eat. If you have questions on anything she is a great resource, like where to get tires without paying an arm and a leg. She's super chill and down to earth.

H is the best Host! Not only is this place a great value, it has everything you could possibly need from a home, and this place is at a safe central location! I would most definitely come back here next time I consider another travel RN contract at BJC. Here are just a few of why this place is unmatched to any other places for RNs looking for a room to rent and looking to sign up to work for BJC or other hospitals in St. Louis. Ill give you my experience: - savings - Hs place to BJC is a 12 min drive - there are 2 large washers and 2 large dryers so laundry is done quicker. - Hs kitchen has everything you could possibly need from appliances like chopper, kettle, baking supplies, to rice cooker(s) and more! - When I first arrived, there was 1 large freezer and 1 refrigerator, then H noticed we needed more space, so she got another ever larger freezer and refrigerator for us to use! - street parking is easy and lots available - H has 2 amazing dogs and the are the best!

a wonderful place to stay

H is amazing! She is so friendly and really cares about her tenants. This was my first travel assignment and my family was nervous about me not having family close by. Once I got to the house and met Holley my parents felt so much better knowing there was someone looking out for me. If I ever get another assignment in St Louis Im calling her first thing!

Above and Beyond

H goes above and beyond in every aspect. I expected the bare minimum for this price but was treated extremely well. I wanted for nothing. My room and everything in it was of great quality. I have full use of a beautiful kitchen, bathroom and washer and dryer. I had full use of towels, soaps, cooking supplies and laundry detergent. Holly is good people and her dog Clyde is a sweetheart and Im going to miss them both!

Home Away From Home

My 3-month stay was very comfortable. The house is in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. It is very close to bus stops, if you need public transportation. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need to cook, and homeowner H provides towels and other toiletries you might need. Has washers/dryers in the basement for you to use. H's dog is very well behaved and friendly/playful. H was great throughout my whole stay. Would stay here again, highly recommend!

Safe and cute

This is a cute home in a quite safe neighborhood. It is about a 17 minute drive to Missouri Baptist Medical Center and an about a 13 minute drive to Barnes Jewish Hospital. There is a large target, grocery stores and several restaurants close. Theres plenty of parking in front or behind the house, beautiful parks near by, and nearby attractions (the st. Louis arch, the zoo, museums, etc). H, is a great host, always makes you feel at home and is always quick to respond to any messages or calls. There are two washers and two dryers and a fully stocked kitchen. The house is clean, comfortable and affordable. When I travel here in the future I will definitely stay with H again!

Great Price, Excellent Location

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, convenient place to stay while traveling to Saint Louis. I stayed here while working at Barnes Jewish Hospital. H is the perfect host and makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need from day 1. The house is super clean and always quiet, even with the dogs (who are friendly) and having other travelers in the house. Having 2 bathrooms and 2 washers and 2 dryers makes it easy for everyone to get ready and do laundry. There is ample parking in front and back of the house, I have always felt safe even coming in late at night. The street is quiet and beautiful. Street is well lit. The house is located near several restaurants, many within walking distance, gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, beautiful parks and Starbucks. Drive to Barnes Jewish hospital is quick and easy. Also close to other hospitals. I have been staying with H since June, 2021 and will be staying until June, 2022. H went from a great host to a great friend while I have been staying with her. H has even helped me out by picking me up from the airport when I traveled home. I cannot say enough good things about H and her place. If you are looking for a place to stay while in Saint Louis this is it. Even if your not sure about renting a room and staying with other people I promise this is the ideal place to rent a room.

A Gem of a Place for Travel Nurses

Property owner is very hospitable. The property is very clean. Parking behind the home is well lit at night. The location was perfect. Walking distance to several excellent restaurants and an easy commute for nurses traveling to work each day. Several grocery stores are also close. The kitchen is amazing with double convection ovens and a gas cooktop. The two washing machines and two clothes dryers at the location are perfect. The bed and pillows were more comfortable than those at a 5 star hotel. I enjoyed my stay and would rent this property again if I return to work in Saint Louis.

Welcoming Home

This is a great place to rent! It's warm and welcoming from day one. Rent is affordable, house is clean, and H goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you could need to have a relaxing stay at her home. There is plenty of parking, the kitchen is newly renovated and fully stocked, and there are 2 sets of washers and dryers, so there's never an issue sharing with the other roommates. I always felt safe and comfortable staying here and would definitely come back again!

AWESOME PLACE!!

This is an amazing place to stay! Never a problem with the shared bath or living space. Very quiet, even with the dogs (which are super friendly)! Wish I could have stayed longer, but my contract was cancelled unexpectedly. Next contract in St. Louis, this will be the first place I check for availability. Thanks for everything Holley!

Nice quiet home, safe area.

I came across Holley's place because it's affordable. Never dissatisfied, very clean home. I worked nights and it was always quiet, roommates very respectful. Holley is the best, always accommodating us with anything needed. Her 2 dogs are very friendly and fun. I loved the bed too, I would always get a good sleep. Restaurants, shopping centers and a couple gyms within walking distance. Very safe area!!!

Great Place to rent

Holley's place it is very nice, she has two very friendly dogs that I liked a lot. This property is in a great location, I used to walk to buy food every day. The kitchen is fantastic, newly remodel. Holley is very nice and friendly, her place is very nice and clean, she has the place professionally clean, she went out of her way to accommodate me and the roomates that I had were very nice also. Definitely, this is the place to rent, specially if one works nights, like I did; it was very nice and quiet. Holley was a great host, I hope you enjoy her place as much as I did and don't forget to try her home made yogurt.

Clean and safe place

Holleys place is a no brainer if youre looking to rent a room. I was originally here on a 6 week contract but ended up extending and stayed for 3 months. I felt safe living here and it has been kept clean and quiet. Everything you need is included- WiFi, microwave, kitchen appliances, etc. The location is close to a lot of attractions in St Louis- the arch, union station, Delmar Loop to name a few. It is 2 minutes from Target and many restaurants. Holley is very nice, flexible, and commutative. Her 2 dog faces are very friendly and Id recommend any traveler to stay here.

Awesome place for travelers!

Upstairs bedroom in a nice, safe neighborhood in the city. Fully furnished, utilities free. $500 a month rent. 13-14 minutes from Barnes Jewish main hospital. Exceptionally clean house, nice bedroom with closet, free Wi-Fi, clean bathroom and shower, easy parking. Kitchen is accessible with all the amenities. Basement has two washers/dryers. Multiple shopping centers 3 minutes away(Target, Schnucks). Tons of good restaurants close by. The Landlady is very accommodating, outgoing, and hardworking around the house. Best Place in STL

Holley was an awesome host! This property is in a great neighborhood and had all the amenities needed to make for a comfortable stay. Her two dogs were the sweetest! This was truly a home away from home and I could not thank Holley enough for her hospitality. Highly recommend!

Holley and her 2 friendly dogs have been nothing but welcoming and kind. Before I even moved in, Holley went out of her way for accommodations and to make me feel at home. This budget friendly property includes: 2 washer & dyers, parking, access to cable & other networks, backyard patio, & a newly remodeled kitchen. The location is pristine, you are within walking distances to 3 parks, a grocery store, a pharmacy, the famous Ted Drewes frozen custard, & only a 10 minute drive to BJH/downtown. Holley has been an outstanding and respectable host & I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.
