Pet Friendly Non Smoking, Safe, Large In-law Apartment accessible to EVERYTHING

Amazing!!!

Our daughter stayed with Barb for 1.5 years while she went to St. Xavier. Barb went above and beyond to not only make sure the apartment was just right, but to help her navigate a big city for a young lady that didn't know much about Chicago. Words can't express enough to capture our gratitude for a wonderful experience. Thank you Barb for being our angel. I would give her 6 stars if we could!!

Super nice family. Very large basement apartment. Quiet environment and Private entrance.

Cozy Home with Kind Tenants

B and her family were very welcoming during my stay. Anytime there was a problem with anything in the unit, she was prompt to take a look and contact someone to fix it. The unit had EVERYTHING one would need including more than enough kitchen appliances and supplies. The area is close to grocery shopping and some lovely restaurants on Western. Its also a very easy 15 minute drive to Advocate Christ Medical Center if you are considering working there. I can be a bit clumsy and I broke/damaged some of the items in the property on accident. There was also some unexpected additional cleaning needed due to me having a cat. Barb was flexible with me and worked with me to settle on how much wed take out of my deposit. She was just so nice and welcoming from beginning to end.

Beautiful home in a great location

This is a perfect rental for a healthcare traveler. Great location in a beautiful neighborhood and so close to the hospital that I was assigned to, I would recommend to any of my traveling nurse friends. Pleasant family that supplied so many amenities which I appreciated so much. Thank you B you were so kind and welcoming.

Great space

Great Space and has a lot of room. All the rooms are large. I was happy that there was a private entrance and washer and dryer for my private use. Plenty of everything needed. Close by to shopping and restaurants. Owner was very accommodating and kind. She fixed any problem quickly. I would definitely stay again.

Properly Review

A cheaper option for an AirBNB but not the most accommodating. Apartment is in the basement of the home so the there is little to no natural lighting. The lights provided are very dim. Most, if not all, kitchen equipment are run-down and rusty and you can tell its been used several times. I had to rewash some of the pots and pans because of food stains from a previous user. In addition, the stuff provided in the bathroom was not washed and smelled. The bathroom often had flys and ants (because the apartment is underground). Owner does not provide an image of the washer/dryer, but its a storage spot with a gross floor and not enough room to do laundry. To sum it up, the pictures of the rental space shown do look promising but its definitely not worth it. The location is relatively safe but not the best.

LOVED IT!

B is the BEST!! Great place to stay! I wish I couldve stayed longer but my contract was up. She has everything you need, in a great area and I felt safe the entire time. If I needed anything she responded instantly! Great family and will definitely return :)

Wonderful place, wonderful people

Barb and Peter are wonderful people. They welcomed me in like I was family and looked out for me while I was there. Comfortable apartment with more than what you need. Walk in closet, good size bathroom. Laundry right outside your bedroom! I couldn't recommend this place more if you can snatch it up before it's booked again! :)

Wonderful Property!

I stayed at this property during my time in Evergreen Park working as a travel nurse. As soon as I pulled in the driveway, the family was welcoming and lovely. They were a wealth of knowledge about the area and knew the best places to go in the area and the best ways to get downtown. They were very respectful of privacy. The property itself was large, well-kept and clean. The kitchen, bathroom and separate washer/dryer were a big plus. Also, having a separate, secure entrance made it so I didn't bother anybody if I had to work odd hours :) My parents were initially concerned about my solo move to Chicago, but after a few days there, they were able to breathe a sigh of relief. The neighborhood is beautiful and completely safe and you are close to shopping, food and transit. The family is truly wonderful and caring about each of their tenants. I would go back to this property any time an opportunity arose; I highly recommend it!
