Led by Faith to a Place That Felt Like Home

This was my first time using furnished finders, and honestly, I was traveling without a plan of my ownonly Gods plan. I was moving to a place where I didnt know anyone and was seeking stability and support as I help my son navigate his next chapter. What I found was so much more than a place to stay. I found a safe, clean haven that was absolutely perfect for my situation. From the very beginning, I was met with kindness, and with open hearts. The manager has an amazing heart, and our host was incredibly gracious giving me both the space and the grace to navigate this uncharted adventure. Their compassion and understanding made all the difference during a time of transition. It truly felt like faith brought me to this place. This experience is one I will never forget, and I am deeply grateful for the warmth, care, and sense of peace I found while staying here. I highly recommend this place.

Owner's mother lives on property as "custodian"

I must say, initially I thought this was an amazing find. Beautify home, nice/quiet area, great amenities, etc. Even once I got there and realized that the owner's mom was the property manager and lived on the property, I was still happy I didn't have to be alone in an unfamiliar place. She was nice and for the most part wasn't a bother. However, towards the end of my stay that changed. She would say things like "is that all you're gonna wear" and "are you really going out to get food this late" (I'm 41 years old!). Additionally, she crossed boundaries with discussing other tenants with me. She felt the need to text me and make me aware that they were moving out and when, which I felt was not my business. This led to her sharing all kinds of personal info that was shared with her by said tenant. I decided I would not stay until March and would move out to have more privacy, not because I hated the place. Her energy clearly changed once I gave that notice. The nitpicking began. When I did my walk-thru she accused me of scuffing the bottom of the bedroom door (which was never even looked at on the initial walk-thru) and stated that I would be charged for her having to clean the sliding glass shower doors (which were just smudged not dirty). I felt like she was picking and I told her so. The owner has refused to communicate with me at all and I have yet to receive my deposit. Today she responded back with "Per state of Iowa Legislation...the landlord is granted a full 30-day period to return any deposit". However, regardless of her personal issue with me, I feel like I should have at least heard from Brandon by now. She was even refusing to give me a package that was on its way, stating that I had been disrespectful to her. This has been a horrible experience. I never again want to live in a place where there is someone there 24/7 policing my every move. That should be in the description of the property!

Very nice and clean home. Great neighborhood. Safe. Property manager and owner were courteous and professional.

Beautiful home

The house is gorgeous and clean. Less than 20 minutes from University of Iowa Hospital. Owner responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. Only complaint I have is that it's in a very busy subdivision with a lot of construction so it can be loud. Other than that I have no complaints.

Quiet and perfect for any traveler!

This property was perfect for what I was looking for! Working nights, the most important thing to me was staying in a quiet space. The house is in a quiet, very safe neighborhood. 15 minutes from U of Iowa Hospital. Highly recommend the heated garage parking if you're in Iowa during the winter! The house was pet-friendly, and the owner was very personable, professional, and easy to get ahold of at any time. There are at most 3 available rooms in the house at any given time, so if you have any hesitations, just ask the owner who you might be housemates with (or if they have pets if that's a concern) during your stay. Highly highly recommend this home!

Beautiful home in a quiet, safe neighborhood. House/room itself is very modern and clean! Owner is readily available to answer and questions during your stay. You cant go wrong here!

Beautiful Home

The house was very clean and modern. The area was very nice and perfect location for getting to and from work. B was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I was also allowed to have my dog there if I needed to.
