Room near Downtown, Honolulu

Very convenient location, close to the bus stop and walking distance to work, grocery stores, coffee shops and even Liliha bakery. Room and shared spaces are neat and clean. Owners are very kind and accommodating. Overall, I was very comfortable and enjoyed my time staying here.

I stayed here for my one month rotation at Queens and its been wonderful! The bus stop was conveniently just a short walk away so I was able to get to many places (Queens, grocery store, Chinatown, Ala Moana, etc) by just taking bus 13. Its a safe neighborhood with Liliha Bakery just across the street and Joy is always ready to help make my stay better. My only con is the internet connection can be iffy with FaceTime or watching movies. Otherwise, everything was great and Joy has been a great host!

This is a great property. Landlords are on site and very helpful. The room is spacious and very clean. The common areas are very clean and plenty of room even with roommates. Lots of storage area for everyone. Secure entrance to both the property and home. Easy walking access to everything you need. If going further into Oahu, bus stops are within 2 blocks or ride sharing is readily available. The only drawback is the fire station across the street does get noisy sometimes.

Its a great little house in a very good location. Easy access to anything you might need. Close to hospitals, groceries and shopping centers. Many local restaurants close by as well. The family downstairs is the nicest family and is happy to help with just about anything. Full use of the kitchen with microwave stove and full size refrigerator, living room with couch, and bathroom with large shore and good storage space. Located just up the hill from the beach. I would highly recommend this place. I would move back in if I get a new contract here.

I Had a great stay here! Initially my contract was only 3 months and extended to 6. I was able to extend for longer with ease. The landlords were great at communicating and in timely fashion. Very clean and home like. Truly 5 stars.

Great location with a drug store, cute coffee shop, and nice craft shop at the corner as well as take out restaurants just a few blocks away. A full grocery store with poke deli is only about a 5 minute walk away and Liliha bakery (which people come from all over to visit) is right across the street! There is a free botanical garden right down the street (8 minute walk) which is lovely to relax in. About 20 minutes on bike to the beach and Ala Moana center, just a bit further to Waikiki. Only 10 or so minutes in a car. The rooms and common areas are clean and relaxing, great shower, and sweet roommates. Right across from the fire station but I was able to get used to it and sleep well during my stay here. No AC but with a fan it isn't bad at all, especially if you will be out during the afternoon when it is the warmest. My room had windows that let in a nice breeze. The landlords and family are the sweetest and most wonderful people you will meet, you will be lucky to live here.

Very budget friendly! It does get hot sometimes but the fan helps. The whole house is clean and the landlords are super sweet and helpful.

Very nice people who care about their tenants. I rented the room because I wanted a place where I was close to work while taking on my assignment. I felt safe and welcomed I would recommend!

This is a simple and comfortable room with caring housemates and landlords, recommended for a short-term travel assignment. It is also opposite a great bakery with amazing cream puffs! I parked my car on the street and walked at night down the street and it was fine, just beware of parking close to driveways - I was towed and fined - this spot is ideal for taking the bus. The house is clean, well looked after and comfortable. Summers are hot, and working from home was a challenge. In the evenings it cools down nicely with a breeze.

My landlord and his family are very accommodating, they make sure they give us the attention at their outmost best. The price is very affordable and they are located in a very safe and friendly neighborhood. The place is well maintained and the location is very convenient to the location of bus stop.

I've lived here for about 4.5 years and this place was such a blessing! Cheap & affordable! I was able to save a lot of money to finally buy a place of my own. If you need a place to stay to save up, this is it! It is a shared bathroom, living room, & kitchen. My roommates were very accommodating with using the bathroom to get ready for work. House is old, but always kept clean due to an awesome roommate who helped me clean. Wonderful landlords who always made me feel like part of their family, inviting me to their little parties downstairs. Beautiful breeze (w/door open) & quiet.

This property is in a great location. The facility where I work is only a walking distance away from the house; which is excellent because in a matter of a few minutes you are home after a long shift of work. The place is quiet. You will share the commonplace with 3 other professionals living in the same house. All of them were great, quiet, and nice. The homeowners are wonderful! They are accommodating to the needs of the tenants. If I go back for another assignment here in Hawaii, I will come back to this place. The location is a plus and the route is accessible to the downtown & Waikiki area.
