Hungry for money

I had an extremely negative experience with this property. The landlord is not only incredibly rude but also exhibits clear discriminatory behavior, which made my stay deeply uncomfortable. Communication was unpleasant and unprofessional, and any attempts to resolve issues were met with hostility. I cannot recommend this property to anyone looking for a respectful and fair rental experience.

RENTERS BEWARE

Ill start with the positives. The location is excellent, and Montrose is a great area to explore. The house is also well stocked with household essentials. Unfortunately, the home feels more like someones personal residence than a rental. Nearly every cabinet and storage space was filled with the owners belongings, leaving no room for groceries or snacks. We had to store food on the counters, which was inconvenient during a month-long stay. My biggest issue was with the fees and deposit. Before booking, I was told the security deposit and pet fee were refundable. After checkout, I was informed otherwise. We left the home tidy, vacuumed, and caused no damage, yet about $600 was kept because the property wasnt left exactly as expected. Charging a cleaning fee while also expecting extensive cleaning seems unreasonable. I also left an item behind and, despite offering to pay shipping, there was no offer to return it. Overall, the experience felt misleading and I would not book again.
