Excellent place to stay

I stayed here for 2 months while doing a contract at Carilion. The location is perfect. The property is clean and quiet. The property manager is very cool and helpful. I've been using furnished finder for the last 6 years or so, and this is definitely one of the best places I've stayed in.

Clean and Uncluttered!

The apartment was perfect for my needs. It was clean and uncluttered. The cleaning service is once a week. The manager Allison is responsive and friendly. Unless you plan on eating out every day, you do need to bring your own kitchen supplies. I brought my own sheets, blanket, and pillows. I highly recommend!

Allison is a responsive and gracious host. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone needing a place in the area and would happily stay again :)

Perfect place to stay!

I was here for 3 months on a travel assignment. Perfect place to be and great location. I always felt very safe and welcomed by everyone in the complex. The maid was consistent, the owner was so kind, and I couldnt have asked for a better place! There is also several restaurants nearby and everything you need is in short driving distance. Grateful for my time here!

Nice safe place conveniently located.

I stayed at this apartment for almost a year while on assignment, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The place was clean, quiet, and felt very safe plus it was conveniently located close to the hospital I worked at. Allison, the owner, was absolutely fantastic! Anytime I had a question or issue, she responded quickly and handled it with care. Gricelda, the housekeeper, kept everything immaculate truly appreciated her attention to detail. Both women were kind, professional, and made my stay comfortable from start to finish. I would 100% recommend this apartment to any traveler, and I already know where Ill be staying if I return to Roanoke for another assignment!

Wonderful Place to Stay

I stayed here Jan-Apr, 2025. The apartment is very clean. I always felt safe. A is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The housekeeper is great and very sweet. I had a wonderful experience during my stay. There is laundry on the premises, which is convenient. There are restaurants and grocery, etc nearby. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to stay.

Vinton Gem

I had a wonderful experience and time during my stay in Vinton. A is very accommodating, offering the best places to eat, to explore and she's very down to earth. She and I always had something to share from our weekends. The neighbors are very friendly and everyone looked out for one another. G, the housekeeper was always a smiling joy and a delight to speak with and easy to work with. There are great places to eat walking distance to this place and the library is a wonderful space to hangout. There are plenty of beautiful parks around to go hiking or a leisure walk. I would definitely stay here again and I look forward to seeing A & G as well.

Wonderful Stay

Efficiency Inn on Pollard was a wonderful stay for me. I stayed nearly a year, and was in the area due to business. It is very safe and clean. A manages the property very well. G is also a gem at assisting A. If time would have allowed, I would have definitely stayed longer.

AWESOME

I was on a travel assignment at a hospital that lasted over a year. I found this property on FF and from day one the owner A has been amazing. Not only is this property clean thanks to weekly house keeping by gricelda (another amazing person) but it was quiet which was very important being a nightshift worker. I felt at home away from home and if I am ever in the area on another contract will definitely be checking availability here first.

Great Place For Traveler

The property is well maintained and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. There really are not a lot of issues with the facility. Utilities come with the rent and they clean the place for you once a week. It's located in a good spot that makes traveling around town very easy to get to. You are just a few minutes walk from a few good spots to eat and relax. Worth staying if it's available!

amazing property Roanoke VA

This property was amazing. I love the simplicity of it because that helped me think and have a clear mind. I love that there was free parking on site plus also laundry that helped and weekly housekeeping which was amazing as well. Allison is so helpful and great. She responded all the time to anything that you needed. It was very quiet, clean, basic and the location was great. It was close to the hospital close to many restaurants. I would walk around some mornings and go out to breakfast and it was perfect. I work nights and I could sleep during the day and not be disrupted, which was also plus, if I ever find myself from Roanoke Virginia, I would definitely stay here again I absolutely love it and I have no complaints.

Perfect!!!!

This is the perfect property for the perfect price point! Housekeeping was on point and accommodating to my night shift life. The manager, A, was so easy to get along, kind and helpful! There was never a problem I had that she couldnt help fix! She gives great restaurant recommendations too! The property was clean, pest free, and quiet. Its in a quiet town called Vinton. The neighbors seemed nice and respectful. There was never an issue with parking. The drive to Carilion was an easy and quick one. If youre looking for a clean, safe and spacious place to stay, and a professional manager to work with, this is your sign!!! I will absolutely come back to this property if Im in Roanoke!

A Great stay!

This is one of the best properties Ive stayed at yet! Allison was great and a pleasure to work with. The place was clean and everything worked properly. There is great proximity to the hospital as well as many things to do in the area. A is a great resource for the best eateries in the area too! Highly recommend!!

Comfy and Cozy

This property is hands down the best place Ive stayed since traveling! The area is great with lots of local restaurants. A is very attentive with phone calls and texts. She goes above and beyond to make sure youre stay is as comfortable as possible. This feels like a home away from home. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

Beyond Expectation

First and foremost the property manager A is remarkable she is very responsive, knowledgeable and reliable. This property is very clean and has great space to cook with full sized refridgerator as well as stove and oven. The housekeeper G is fantastic as well she comes by once a week and does a great job changing linens, cleaning out the bath tub as well as sweeping and mopping. They are very flexible with your work and sleep schedule to plan cleanings around the time you will be out of the property. Neighbors are friendly as the majority of them are nurses as well. Property is placed in an excellent location right in the heart of downtown Vinton close to all the stores you will need while away from home. For the price you are getting above and beyond the service paid for and you will not be dissapointed. I am sad to leave this property and if I am ever in Roanoke again this is where I will be staying without a doubt. I recommend this property to all.

Great place for travelers!

The stay here was very easy. The room was cleaned once a week very well and amenities always worked! The staff was extremely nice and the place was only 10 minutes from Roanoke Memorial. The rooms were fairly large and a great deal for the price due to being a 1B1B apartment. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Roanoke!!!

Great location, perfect stay

I had a contract at Carilion so this place was a perfect location. It was quiet and very convenient to Vinton and Roanoke downtown as well! A was extremely helpful with everything! I even got locked out on a Sunday and she sent one of the tenants to the rescue. Had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice Place

I very much enjoyed my stay at this establishment. I was a warm welcoming place in the winter and a cool welcoming place during the summer. In the 9 months that I stayed there, I encountered no issues. The place is extremely clean, well kept, both inside and out, and the proprietor and the cleaning/maintenance team are extremely polite, always smiling and accommodating to every need or request that one might have during their stay. The place is within walking distance of a multitude of dining and shopping establishments, minutes from Roanoke and the hospitals/medical facilities and literally less than a half mile from a major grocery market. Vinton is a very peaceful town and surrounded by the views of the mountains, some of which you will see when you walk out your front door. If you are looking for a home away from home, this would nicely fit that description. Should I return to Roanoke on another contract assignment, I would stay there again and definitely recommend it to anyone.

Best place Ive stayed at :)

It was such a pleasure to be able to stay here. From the first encounter, A went above and beyond to accommodate me. The units are spacious, very well kept, and clean. G with housekeeping is wonderful as well. I wish I could take them with me on my travels! Hope to stay here again in the future. :) thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Place for a Traveler

I have been here since May on an adsignment at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and will be leaving soon. A and G are amazing, and extremely kind. They are very understanding of my night shift schedule, and accommodated me when it comes to to the cleaning schedule, and delivering/holding onto any packages I recieve. UPS and FedEx deliveries were never an issue, plus they are pet friendly. The extended stay is centrally located, and close to Krogers and Walmart. If I ever return to Roanoke for another travel assignment, I will definitely be attempting to return here.

I would have rated in between four and a five if the system allowed it. Regardless, this is a great convenient location for access to work and stores. Both Al and G are professional, friendly, and kind. A had been prompt to address any concern or question we had. The area was quiet, and the unit was in good condition when we moved in, with the other occupants being relatively friendly in any interaction. Getting mail and Amazon packages was not an issue at all. She informed me of their delivery, which was secure at her office. If the package was left at the door by the delivery service, it was never stolen.

Great Extended Stay!

This was the perfect place to stay for my 6 week rotation. The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bed was comfortable as well! I would highly recommend.

I just left yesterday from a 13 week stay here. Allison and Gricelda were amazing to me and so kind! They understood my night shift schedule and accommodated me well when it came to cleaning my place or anything else I may have needed. The motel is close to the hospital and downtown, and pets are welcome as well which is a plus!

Great Place

This place has everything you need for a short term stay. Great Location to all the essentials, and I only had an 11 minutes drive to work at Carilion. They offer weekly cleaning, which can be hard to get done on night shifts, but Phoebe was so accommodating and considerate to my schedule. Greatly appreciated.

Perfect for Medical Travelers

Allison has been the best by always finding me a unit for the dates I need. Phoebe makes sure your unit is spotless and you have everything you need...without asking. The units have everything I need after working a long 12 hour shift...somewhere comfortable to chill, eat, and a good place to sleep. Another plus, it takes me 10 minutes to get to the hospital from here.
