Nice quiet apartment

This apartment is very clean, quiet and well stocked. David is very kind and helpful. The house is in a quiet area on a quiet cul-de-sac. Plenty of privacy in the apartment. Nice laundry area. Very nice tvs and comfy bed. The toilet has a heated seat. That was my favorite thing.

Great location, clean, safe

I actually miss renting this great spot. David is one of the kindest people I've ever known. He was a fantastic landlord. He respects privacy, he's responsive, and he's warm and friendly. Great conversationalist too! The property itself is clean, well organized, and has nearly everything you might need. It's in a quiet and safe cul-de-sac with easy access to shopping and freeways. David always made EVERYTHING easy. This is someone who is on top of everything while being incredibly welcoming. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Studio Apartment

D was a great host and always made sure the place was up to date while I was staying there. He replaced the shower head and shower doors while I was there just to make sure everything was kept updated. He was very easy to get ahold of. This location is a quick drive to pretty much anything you need. Two Costcos within a 10 mile radius, three Walmarts within a 10 mile radius, etc. D makes sure the property is very safe. There was even a little field next door where I could take my dog out and play fetch during my stay. Plenty of storage and counter space, having a full sized fridge was amazing as well. D has added some nice amenities to the place like a heated toilet seat, a remote to control the lights, and access to Netflix for travelers. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

I had a wonderful stay! The apartment had everything you could need and more for a long term stay. D was a great host and was always available to answer questions. I would recommend this apartment!

Great accommodation! Very satisfied!

D's upstairs unit was a great short term stay for my husband & I, and our cat. D was very flexible & had great communication w/ us the entire month & a half that we stayed here. We had everything we needed from kitchen appliances, to TV/Wifi/Streaming services, to towels/toilet paper/cleaning products. Fully furnished & then some. We were very happy w/ our stay here & D was an amazing host! Would 100% return!

Amazing Stay

D is an exceptional host and the property itself clean, quiet and safe. As a female solo traveler, i've felt nothing short of comfortable during my time here. If there was anything i needed, D is always very accommodating and accessible. I would return here in a heartbeat and recommend this property to any traveling nurse(s) looking to work in the tacoma area.

2nd story Apartment Right Side

Quiet, beautiful, safe 2nd story apartment, 2nd story of house with private entrance. D was an amazing host and provides everything you will need. He is always available to chat or if you have any concerns, however, he also gives you your space and privacy. This apartment is in a great location and close to the freeway. Quiet environment. As a solo female traveler, I was safe and would stay here again.

Travel Nurse Stay

D is the perfect host . The house is exactly as described . It is perfect for a night or day nurse as the house is almost alway quiet . I felt safe at all times at a solo female traveler . Comfortable bed with plenty of room to store items .

Cozy Apartment in Home

I could not be happier with my stay here. Despite being attached to the rest of the house, you have complete privacy and no one interferes in your space. D was accommodating from day 1, making sure my space had everything I needed. I felt safe here, had a parking space for my vehicle, a yard for my dog, and close to jumping on any of the main roads. Really started to feel like my little home here. If I come back this way, I will definitely be checking with D first to see if he has anything available!

Perfect PNW Hideaway

I couldnt have asked for a better experience in this beautiful 2nd story suite safely tucked away at the end of a well kept and quiet culdesac. The space was spotless on arrival and stocked with bathroom toiletries/kitchen supplies. Landlord D was most approachable and accommodating! Just a text or call away and always responds within the hour (most times within minutes!) My favorite things: washer and dryer was very new and amazing! Elevated toilet seat complete with a bidet! (chefs kiss) INCREDIBLE king size bed with quality super soft sheets. As previously mentioned, a wonderful landlord. Wether youre craving absolute privacy or occasional company, recommendations, and great conversation, this space and its landlord is perfect for both.

The unit on the left

Coconut (my dog) and I stayed here for about four and a half months or so and loved how close it was to everything (especially Wapato park about five mines down the road). The freeway is less than a minute from the house and only about a 10 minute drive to GSH. It's also right next to Pacific Ave which has everything you need gas stations, groceries, food etc. The area for the most part is very quiet; occasional street noise but nothing significantly disturbing. I never had issues sleeping during the day while working night shift nor did I have issues sleeping when I switched to day shift. D was always respectful and easy to be around. I highly recommend staying at this property for future travelers!

Very clean & EXTREMELY functional place w/ everything you need. Great price, great location, not far from many hospitals! My husband worked at Multicare Good Sam. D was beyond accommodating and helpful checking in on us regularly. He was also very kind, letting us use a Christmas tree so that we could decorate for the holidays (we were across the country from home so I was SO excited for a semi-normal decorated Christmas!) Things to note: The kitchen had a microwave, crockpot, air fryer toaster oven (so nice!), toaster, induction cooktop, coffee maker, and plenty of dishes. Meaning - there is not an actual oven/dishwasher. I thought this may be an issue when we moved in, but it wasn't. I cooked all the time as the toaster oven was plenty big for one-pan dinners for two (ie chicken, veggies, etc). Also, the washing machine/dryer is shared. However, we just texted D and let him know whenever we needed to use it. It was never an issue! Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay

I stayed here for my summer contract in Puyallup. Xxx was a great host and made sure you had everything you needed. Comfortable bed, kitchenette equipped with air fryer, full sized fridge, and stove, 2 TVs, and plenty of room for guests.

Great place to stay in Tacoma!

Stayed in the apartment on the left for the past 3 months while working in gay Harbor. It's a very comfortable setup and I felt very at home immediately from arriving at the apartment. D is very friendly and personable and made me feel right at home! The apartment was a perfect size for me and pretty much had everything I needed. While it doesn't have a completely full kitchen (no oven), D has a very big little convection oven, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker and hot plate for you to use. All utensils dishes and silverware are provided. He even had paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags available. The apartment on the left, where I stayed, is very roomy with lots of windows to let the sun in. Roku, internet, parking and all utilities are all provided. D also kindly let me use his washer dryer is well. On a cul-de-sac with easy access to the highway, I highly recommend D's place! It was a great set up for my time there! Thanks D!!

Safe, cozy apartment

My family and I stayed here for a month. The apartment is in a nice and safe area. It is easily accessible to main freeways. I have to be somewhat specific with this property because we lacked nothing. David has thought of everything you can think of to make your stay there pleasant and worry free. The kitchenette is well equipped with all the appliances and utensils you need as well as plates, bowls, coffee mugs, pot and pans. Tea and coffee is available. The beds were comfortable, clean and big. The bathroom is spacious and having 2 sinks was awesome! There were plenty of towels and linen. If we ever need to return to this area we will stay here again. David is a great host, polite and professional. He respects your privacy but is available if you need him. He not only cares for his current guests but looks for ways to improve the unit for future guests. We highly recommend this property.

Amazing stay

I was here for a nursing assignment for 3 months. The apartment I stayed at is very spacious. Its in a safe and quiet location. There are 2 rooms with big TVs and is enough to accommodate at least 3-4 people. It is totally separate from the main house and David respects his tenants space. He will not go in there unless you need him for something. He is such a nice guy and helped me out during a personal crisis. Thank you for that! Hes very reliable. I will stay here again!

Great place, great guy

I've been a travel nurse for about five years. Dave's place has easily been the best of all the housing I've experienced anywhere. He's also a great host, and a very thoughtful and accomplished person. If you're looking for a place prioritizing personal security, tranquility, and comfort for the traveling professional; then Dave's is the place. Its also well positioned for commuting to a half-dozen hospitals you might work at. I wish I could have stayed longer. If I ever get a job in his area, I'd be happy to stay here again.
