Uncomfortable experience

-The landlord retains this as a residence and it is full of the landlord's belongings. You will not be given much space for your items. Even the closet in my bedroom had stuff in it. -The landlord may return to reside in the home with you at any time. Prior to signing the lease, I was assured by the landlord that, with the exception of a possible visit to last "a few days," I would have the house to myself the entire time. 2 weeks after moving into the house, I was contacted by the landlord and informed that her husband and son would be coming to live at the house for an entire month, forcing me to move unexpectedly in the middle of my contract. -The landlord controls the thermostat remotely and at one point put a lock on it so I could not adjust it at all. I was questioned by the landlord about why I unplugged an Alexa in my bedroom. I was told by the landlord that I was not permitted to lock the door to the house when I was home alone.

Cozy and Comfortable

Literally home away from home! The house is comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Safe neighborhood. Beds are comfortable. Nice kitchen stove and a lovely huge backyard to sit and enjoy the weather. Or read. P made sure we had everything we needed and was pleasant to rent from. I appreciated the fact that she gave us space & wasnt an overbearing landlord. P was so down to earth and pleasant. Her home was cozy and felt like home. I will stay here again when if I return to Bakersfield.

Great experience

Very nice, comfortable home. My tenant was so friendly. Im so glad I found this home, felt like I was in my own house. I would definitely go back whenever I have another job assignment
