Expensive and not worth it

This place will never not smell like dog. There is a small old spring mattress on the floor in the loft and they call that a second bedroom. Theres caked dust everywhere. The neighbors dog poops everywhere in the shared yard and doesnt get cleaned up. The patio furniture is not taken care of so its moldy. The house is FREEZING in the cold months. All this for an outrageously high price.

Unfortunately this review is purely retaliation for a deducted cleaning deposit. M rented the property for nearly a year and had no complaints, renewing her contract multiple times. She traveled with two large border collie dogs. When she left, she admittedly did not sweep, vacuum, or any other cleaning, nor hire a cleaning company. The house was covered wall to wall with dog hair, upstairs and down. The carpets had to be vacuumed and shampooed. We deducted a very reasonable fee considering the 10 months she was there, but when we gave her the bill she was very rude, accusatory and angry. I sent her photos and videos of the condition of the property and she was still angry she had to pay for any cleaning. There have been many very happy prior travelers here. There is heat in every room if you turn it on, everything in the house is clean if you keep it clean. the upstairs is furnished as an office not a full bedroom but if needed that can be provided.
