Overlook Gig Harbor

D and J are the most kind people you would want to have in your life and as the landlords when you are away from home. Very flexible, kind, helpful, generous, relax, respect your privacy, and never get in on your business or your free times but always invited you to join them on family activity. The house is really nice, clean, with the kitchen windows looking out the long deck over the green and lush backyard overlooking Gig Harbor. The neighborhood is quiet but not totally isolated, only a few minutes drive to beaches, waterfront, and eateries. Very close to Tacoma and Seattle or a couple hours from Portland, OR. So many things to do in Gig Harbor and close enough to Mt. Rainier and the weather is lovely, wish to go back sometime soon- B S.

Absolutely gorgeous!!

I rented this property during a 13 week work contract, and I could not have found a more peaceful and welcoming home! The hosts are simply amazing people, and truly made it very comfortable and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. The house is nicely kept with a very relaxing atmosphere. The balcony view is beautiful! The location of the home is in beautiful Gig Harbor, a quaint and up and coming city with a great downtown. Hands down, I'd prefer to be in a small town that has everything to offer, as opposed to the hustle and bustle of the city. Seattle is only 40 minutes north, an easy drive. All I can say is that I fell in love with the beautiful home, the welcoming and peaceful atmosphere, and the hosts are two genuine and lovely people. I'm very pleased with my experience staying here.

Beautiful property and amazing hosts

D and J went above and beyond to make their home feel like our home too. Waking up to the view of the bay every morning was amazing and the private beach turned into one of our favorite spots! We would recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a home away from home with awesome roommates and great outdoor experiences in the back yard!!
