Great Olympia, WA unit!
We have stayed with John and Nancy for two summers. The apartment is spacious and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. If we needed anything or had a problem ( very few minor issues) , Nancy was very quick to respond and rectify whatever was needed. The apartment is very spacious and the location is in a quiet, wonderful family neighborhood. Its very convenient to restaurants, shops and the Olympia Mall. The co-op is just a few blocks from the property. Their dog, Ranger, is a sweetheart and very friendly. If we did not want to be closer to our family in Seattle, we would definitely rent this place again.
Mountain and Meadow - A Welcoming Home
Mountain and Meadow is a great place to stay in a safe and quiet neighborhood. This is a great location in Olympia close to shopping, restaurants, and outdoor activities. I felt right at home and comfortable in the clean and spacious apartment with plenty of light, a place to work at the bedroom desk or dining room table, and a kitchen with what is needed to make meals and morning coffee. Everything I needed and more was here, including a view of Mt. Rainier on a nice day. The owners are very hospitable, friendly, easy to work with and easy to reach if needed. I definitely recommend Mountain and Meadow and would stay here again.
Mountain and Meadow
Wonderful accommodations with a real feel of being home. N and J are very gracious and make renting feel like we were right at home.
Property not as Advertised
Stayed here for two months and the living situation was so bad that my husband and I ended up leaving early. This is not private as their is no door between the landlords living area and ours, only a staircase with a baby gate halfway down. We could hear every single conversation being had on the level above us when we were not in the bedroom. Their dog barks excessively, and would often stand on the stairs in front of the gate barking at us. Baby gate does not stop cats from entering our living space, and her one cat was down in our apartment frequently; I was constantly cleaning up cat hair from her cat. Their property is not well maintained at all. Neither is the furniture in the living area; 2 of the 3 couches were ripped up and our bed frame was broken. Landlords also have their own personal belongings throughout the space. I have been a travel PT for 5 years and this was far and away the worst living situation I have had, I would not recommend staying here.
Great apartment, great location
I stayed here with my dog for 3 months while working at St Petes. Private entrance basement apartment that got plenty of sunshine, nice patio to relax out back. Good size kitchen that has all the essentials. The entire place is even larger than I anticipated. The neighborhood is very walkable and everyone is very friendly. N and J were wonderful hosts and my dog still misses them! Highly recommend this rental.
Welcome Home
Stayed here for 3 months on a travel assignment and N & J were wonderful hosts. We had our German Pointer with us and they were able to watch him while at work which was very much appreciated! The apartment was cozy, and I was personally obsessed with the Mt Rainier views when she did show herself. ??
Wonderful stay
N and J were wonderful. The unit was clean and spacious. Close to everything in town.
Quiet and cozy, close to town
its a downstairs apartment with a shared stairway with owners. It's quiet and nice with no real complaints. The house is in a nice neighborhood with the waterfront in a walkable or bikeable distance and a cute little food co op on your way in and out of the neighborhood.
Welcoming and convenient
My stay here was wonderful. I was here short term for a clinical rotation at Providence St. Peter Hospital. The kitchen has everything you need for a long term stay, the home is peaceful and the space is very clean. The owners, Nancy and John, are welcoming, kind, and available if you need anything. The space is like a small one bedroom apartment on the ground floor of the home that is private. There is plenty of lighting, seating, a dinner table, and a desk to work at. I would definitely stay here again, it met all of my expectations and then some! Highly recommend.
