Beautiful yard, good location

The cottage is a very cute spot that opens up to a nice little porch and patio with lots of natural light and plants. The internet was reliable working from home every day. Kitchen is very well supplied and the mattress was very comfortable. The location is convenient with a few restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance.

Nice and Cozy Place

I booked this property for my parents and they stayed here for a little over 2 months. It is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood close to many facilities around. The place is nice, cozy, and clean. Communication with the owners was great. Would recommend.

Felt like home away from home

I stayed at this property for 10 weeks while I worked at Kaiser Oakland. It was an easy 7 minute commute to work. I parked on the street and would often return at 3-4am, I felt very safe even walking back from my car late at night. The location make it very easy to get to drive to into SF or north to Berkley. There is a bus stop on the other side of the block that you can easily transfer to the BART and get anywhere in the bay area with ease. I had no issues with street parking and the neighbors were very nice. The cottage was cozy but still spacious, I enjoyed having a full sized fridge and full kitchen. Even though you are in a big city the cottage and neighborhood still felt quiet and inviting. The hosts I and T were very welcoming,attentive to any needs the cottage or I had and were very unobtrusive. It was very convenient having on-site washer and dryer, a must if you ask me. If I return to Oakland I would happily stay here again.

Lovely property

I lived in this cottage for 6 months and very much enjoyed my stay! The home is equipped with all essentials including extra blankets/linens/pillows, TV with Netflix, a huge kitchen with cookware, and lots of storage space. I felt very safe living in this neighborhood and street parking. The area is very convenient with trader joes, target, Safeway, Marshalls, etc all nearby. I worked at UCSF Benioff Oakland less than a 10min drive away and it was very easy to take the bridge over to SF. The garden area was always well tended too and often admired by the adorably friendly pet cats of the shared home! I and T were great hosts that respected my privacy and fixed the few issues I had very quickly. Overall I felt very welcome and lucky to live here!

Great Stay

I stayed here for my summer internship and it was excellent. Full kitchen, plenty of space, and an easily accesible washer/dryer. The entrance is private with a pretty shared garden. I is very kind and makes herself easy to reach.

Feels like home

I stayed at this property for my entire 13 wk assignment as a traveler to UCSF Benioff. It was super close to the hospital, it took me less than 10 mins at any given time. Also very close to restaurants, shops and groceries. It was very convenient and quiet. I worked the night shift and sleeping in the daytime was not a problem at all. The kitchen was spacious also had everything you would need. You also get a full size refrigerator to yourself. Isa and Tom were wonderful hosts. They are very responsive and respectful. They also gave me some goodies like tea and dumplings on random days. The garden is beautiful as well. Street parking was always available if not right outside, very close to the property. I definitely recommend this place is you want to have a nice, comfortable and peaceful stay.

Lovely cottage

I stayed here for four months. The place has a wonderful shared courtyard garden and the amenities in the cottage made my stay very pleasant. Plus, Isabelita and Tom are kind and generous hosts, responsive to my needs- and also sometimes leaving little treats at my doorstep :) I definitely recommend this rental.

Superb stay

Isa is an exceptional, compassionate host who went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The home is in a friendly neighborhood close to the Emeryville Greenway. The apartment is well furnished, with the added bonus of a lush, peaceful garden in the backyard. I definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing property

I absolutely enjoyed renting this unit. The property is beautiful, clean, tranquil and I felt safe living here as a single female.The landlord is very nice, and is always available to fix any issue; she goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. The unit is fully equipped with all necessary essentials.The neighborhood is in a central location, very close to 2 major hospitals and walking distance to food/shopping in the Shellmound Street area. A plus for living in this area is the free Emeryville shuttle which has a shuttle stop about 6 minutes walking distance to the property.
