Walker Property

The owner of this property is a blessing in disguise, I supposed to stay to another property (another owner) but I don't like the place. I reached out to Mr. Walker and right away he responded to me. He showed me the place which I like because it's quiet and most of all clean. The owner is approachable, he made sure that there's no problem in the unit you stayed. Good thing as well if you don't have a car, that's not a problem! They offer SUVs for rental which is way more cheaper than the rental you can find in the airport or even to any apps. Night shifter out there, not really a problem to sleep, the place is really quiet and safe. The property is close to the mall, grocery shopping, and if you love jogging, there's a close oval by the high school. I will definitely go back to this place if I would get another travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.

Value, Comfort, and Safety

I have had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for a week. Clean, comfortable, cozy and inviting! Well stocked with amenities! Great area, safe, easy to get around Anchorage and other points of interest/shopping. Everything feels like home from the bed linens to the inviting living room. The bathroom is a spa! There's upgraded lighting, a jacuzzi tub, and a multi-stream shower. The full sized kitchen has all appliances and an islsnd for meal prep and dining. Vehicle add on option is a fantastic perk. Landlord will pick up and drop off travelers at the airport. There is also a complimentary laundry room. My friend, who is a medical traveler, has stayed at this location 4 times. If you are away from home, this apartment will help you feel at home. Looking forward to another stay in the future!

Nice and quiet space with all the amenities that you will need for your stay. I had an amazing view of the mountains. So daily I was able to open my curtains which brought me so much joy. My stay was for a total of 6 months and I was on a travel assignment at Alaska Regional Hospital. I had everything I needed to make me feel like I was at home and if I needed any assistance or guidance about the area or things to do Mr. & Mrs. Wilson was always available to assist. I most definitely will come back rent with Mr. & Mrs. Wilson. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Easy and good value place to stay

Wilson was an excellent landlord - responsive and helpful. The place was very clean and quiet. I had a few car issues during my time, but all my concerns were addressed quickly and ultimately I got from point A to point B safely.

The Sleeping Lady

I am a traveling Respiratory Therapist who utilizes furnished finder quite often in hopes of finding decent lodging. The Walker properties is the best landlord and lodging I have ever found that actually matched the description and more. Not only was my place stunning and absolutely convenient in location. Mr and Mrs. Walker provided a ride to and from the airport and was able to accommodate any of my needs. I highly recommend staying with them. You will not be disappointed.

I stayed here for 6 months while on contract at the hospital. It is very clean and quiet. The landlord, Walker, is very willing to help. I had trouble with the tv and he was there immediately. I rented a car from him and it was clean and well maintained. Even had good snow tires on it. I would highly recommend renting from him I felt safe and the place was quiet for when I came home totally exhausted. Laundry onsite which was huge for me. If I ever come back I will certainly check with him for something available.

Southside's Finest

I stayed here my first 3months in Anchorage while working at Providence, the place came with a car that was helpful in the winter. The place was clean and pretty quiet with beautiful views. It was close to various things Fred Meyer, Shops, Target ect. and was about 12 mins from work. Overall the stay was great, we had a few issues due to crazy weather and also a thing with the car but when I reached out, He got right on it to get the issues fixed. He took me to the airport for my break and even picked me back up when I returned and took me to my new appt that was Not his property. Wilson will take care of you!!

Clean, Safe Apartment

The apartment was very clean when I first arrived. Management communicated very well. I had no issues. Also in a safe part of town and felt very safe.

Nice property, arrogant landlord

Unfortunately the landlord is horrible. At first he was very helpful, but farther into the rental you start to see how one sided interactions can be. I did my absolute best to work with him and be flexible, however he never showed the same to me. Never made any effort to fix a broken faucet handle or a loose shower drain that had sharp edges during my five month stay. When I vacated the apartment, I tried to communicate a check out time that he could look over the apartment, per Walkers offer, but he wouldnt message me back, nor did he make any effort to contact me. When I told him I would rather have communication in writing, he scoffed, and proceeded to curse, being very unprofessional. He later threatened me saying I can get aggressive if you want. In his normal behavior of doing the bare minimum according to the law, he refused to return my security deposit any faster than what is required, saying what are you going to do if I dont?

WOW! Where do I even begin with this review? If you are a traveling professional looking for a place to stay in Anchorage Alaska.....please look no further and book your stay with South Anchorage Suites. The Walkers went above and beyond from my initial inquiry to the day I moved out. When I first inquired about my stay, I was a little uneasy and Mr. Walker helped to quickly alleviate those feelings. Mr. Walker got up from relaxing on a Saturday morning and walked over to the property and gave me a virtual tour via FaceTime. On the day that I arrived in Alaska, he picked me up from the Airport and offered to stop by the grocery store so I could pick up a few things and did not rush me at all. My suite was perfect! It was very clean, cozy, and free of any odors. I had absolutely no issues at all whatsoever. The comfortability of the suite made my transition smoother! But wait, it gets better! As a very young travel professional, this was my very first travel assignment and first time I have been away from family and friends during the holidays..on Thanksgiving the Walkers gave me a very nice and tasty homecooked meal. The Walkers are just overall very nice and kindhearted people. Please do not hesitate to book with the Walkers at South Anchorage Suites. I promise you will not regret it.

Hospitalitys Unmatched

From the initial phone interactions with W I knew I wanted to stay at South Anchorage Suites. He was honest and easy to communicate with. I was lucky enough to stay in Suite 202 Partial Chugach Mountain View. The pictures are accurate. The suite was sunny and bright. Extremely clean! Tastefully decorated. The most well appointed kitchen Ive leased as a travel nurse. All the comforts of home. Nice little dining area for meals. Location, location, location! It sits in the prominent area of South Anchorage one of the safest and top rated neighborhoods in Anchorage. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Just minutes from Walmart and Costco. Near attractions such as Potters Marsh, Beluga Point, Alaska Wildlife Park, Portage Glacier and more. Sits just off Seward Highway which is one of the most beautiful scenic drives ever. I also rented a very reliable SUV from W and J and was able to enjoy many towns in Alaska on my off days. I enjoyed being here so much I was willing to brave the winter if a contract had been available. Being from Texas I was not prepared for the snow but W kept the parking lot cleared and provides everything needed for safe driving in inclement weather such as studded tires, electric connection to keep car from freezing, remote start to warm the car and more. I truly cant say enough good things about my stay. He also picked me up at 5am from the airport and dropped me off for my return flight home. If I were to return to Anchorage on contract I would base my answer on availability at South Anchorage Suites

I stayed in this suite for 3 months while on a work contract. The suite was very clean and I felt safe at all times. I also rented a reliable vehicle at a great price. I gave a 4 star rating due to a few unexpected issues that happened during my stay (hot water issue and alarm system issue) These issues were resolved in a somewhat timely manner. Overall my experience was good and I would recommend staying here. Location is good and you're just a short drive from anything you might need. Wilson picked up/dropped off at the airport which was really nice.

Amazing Stay !

The whole property itself is absolutely stunning! Extremely clean and very personable staff! They go above and beyond to be available for whatever you need. I loved it so much I upgraded to a larger unit for the next year and a half ! Its a must see for sure !

South Anchorage Suites

I'm a travel nurse who was fortunate to stay in this property. This place was beautiful inside and out, convenient to my job, close to shopping, restaurants and hiking trails. It was so clean and bright, so many windows and sunlight. Decorated so tastefully with everything you would need for a short or long term stay. There was a free washer and dryers down the hall. So very convenient. The properly owners were such sweet people. Always available and offered not only suites, but rental cars too. You couldn't find a better or lovelier place to rent visiting or working in Anchorage. Outstanding quality and service!

Awesome Stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Very clean and comfortable. Landlord was very available for any needs and super nice! Had Plenty of privacy and felt very safe. Very convenient location to everything. I was provided a very dependable SUV. Can't go wrong with this rental!

Quiet and Safe

The property owners also rented me a nice BMW at a very reasonable rate. They were incredibly kind and picked my up at the airport at 1:30 in the morning and took me to the airport when it was time to go home. They kept the parking area plowed and the steps shoveled. If I had any questions, they responded immediately. The apartment was clean and the free washer and dryer worked great. The apartment is south of town in a very safe area. It is only minutes away from Flat Top Mountain - a popular hiking area. Potters Marsh Board Walk is also very close - I went there a lot. I feel like the rate was fair for the accommodations provided.

Perfect Place to Stay

Fox Den was absolutely perfect for my solo needs. The apartment was immaculate and the attention to detail was obvious. W and P were attentive, kind, and supportive. I wont stay anywhere else - convenient, clean, and comfortable! Thank you!

Absolutely perfect, fresh, and clean

This apartment and all of the apartments in the South Anchorage Suites are incredible. The owner lives on site and keeps the apartments in spotless condition. Each apartment is tastefully decorated and full of natural light. Everything you need in a furnished apartment is there with no extra clutter to distract from the charm. We stayed in the apartment for four months and rented a car from the owner as well. Car rental was very reasonable and saved us a ton of money. The neighborhood is extremely safe and quiet with ample off street parking. Our unit had a fully stocked and fresh. The shower had multi spray jets and was perfect after a full day of work. We hope to rent from South Anchorage Suites again in the future. Location was great being it's very close to shopping and dining. Better than five star clean and owner management is professional and accommodating. Do not hesitate to consider any of the apartments in this building. We loved it!

AK stay , all that you need

This place was a perfect place to get my feet into Alaska . Close to hospitals , safe, r landlord quick response , option to have a vehicle ! Would recommend !!

Safe, Great Value, Convenient, Clean, Efficient, and a Vehicle to Boot!!!

As a traveler, safety, value, and convenience are key. I stayed in this property for 3 months. I felt completely safe with absolutely no issues. The apartment was clean and efficient. The bed, bedding, and towels were comfortable. The refrigerator is full size and there is a microwave and stovetop for cooking. The laundry room is just down the hall and super convenient. Having a vehicle accompany this rental is an unbelievable asset in Anchorage. The vehicle was reliable and user friendly. Mr. W is an excellent landlord. He even arranged for my transportation from and back to the airport. He is readily accessible if you have any questions. I play on returning next year and frankly, wouldn't consider staying anywhere else but here. You will not find a better offering of apartment and vehicle combination.

Perfect Accommodation

My stay was incredible. The accommodation were excellent, and the service from the owner was top-shelf. This was my first experience with snow and the owner made sure I were safe at the property. I am a travel nurse and they arranged a rental vehicle for my stay, saving me $$$$ dollars. I was provided transportation to the property from the airport when I arrived and transportation to the airport when I departed. The property was neat, fresh, and clean. If you are traveling to Anchorage for work or leisure, this property is an excellent choice.

Attention Medical and Adventure travelers! If youre one of the lucky few who are able to book a studio or multi-living space with Walker Properties, then you are set! I stayed in one of the studios for 6 months and let me tell you it was the best decision I made! This place is always booked! You have everything you need! Very spacious and comfortable

This apartment had everything we needed and was clean and spacious, with beautiful views of the mountains from the lounge and first bedroom. We also rented a car from W and had no issues with either vehicle. Location of this complex is very convenient with grocery stores, shopping, hiking trails, restaurants and the highway nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

Fox Den

I absolutely loved my stay at this property! W and C were both a joy to work with and so very accommodating. I will definitely stay there again if I take another job contract in Anchorage. The Fox Den studio is perfect for a solo travel nurse; its in a nice, safe area, completely furnished, and close to everything you need. And the option to rent a SUV as a package deal was an unbeatable deal! W and S, thank you for everything! You guys are fantastic!

Good place to stay while in Anchorage

This is a good place to stay while working in Anchorage. I was treated well by the owner and his staff.It felt like it was a safe place to stay at, also clean.I will be returning to stay here for my second nursing contract.

Chugach Nountain View review

Very pleasant stay. Owner was very attentive to all my requests. I felt safe. Having the use of a rental vehicle was the icing on the cake. The sUV was clean, ran well and I did not gave any issues. I would definitely rent again from owner.

Best Place in Anchorage

This place is great!! My favorite apartment in Anchorage!! The property owner & manager treated me like family!! Its in a very safe area, close to everything and I never once had to complain about anything!! Very clean, very accommodating & I definitely recommend this property!! I will definitely be staying there on my next assignment!!

Fantabulous accommodations and hosts.

I am a healthcare traveler from upstate NY who took an assignment in Anchorage, AK as COVID staff relief after a couple of miserable pandemic years. I found this place on FF, contacted W and decided I would stay here. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only was the place clean and new, it is convenient to everything, accommodating to people that work shift work, it is quiet and peaceful. I can't say enough about W and C, the few issues I had were addressed very quickly and with complete satisfaction. I also rented a vehicle from them as part of my rental package and that was again a great decision. The vehicle, all though not brand new, was very clean and well maintained. It saved me a ton of money. Wilson even provided me with transportation to and from the airport when needed. If I ever return to Anchorage, I will definitely contact W again.

Spacious suite with gorgeous view!

Our 3 month stay here was great! The suite we stayed in was a very spacious 2/2 and had a great view of South Anchorage from the balcony. I loved the large windows that allowed me to take in all the nature. Tasteful furnishings and it felt very homey. The location is close to shopping, restaurants, and the highway. W is very responsive and always around if you need him. You can tell he puts his heart into making sure the property as a whole is well maintained. We ended up renting our car from him as well. We cant wait to come back. Thank you.

Luxurious stay in Anchorage!

We had the most amazing stay here for the month of September. The location was great, close to downtown, the parks, and shops. 15min to get you anywhere! The apartment itself was very comfortable. Very very fast internet (200mbps), high end kitchen, and a jacuzzi bathtub The best part of the stay was the owner W. An incredible guy who will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay.

Comfortable Studio

Great place to stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay, Wilson and Tara were fabulous and always available. They work very hard to ensure their tenants are happy and satisfied. Their place was immaculately clean. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay this is a great option. I cant say enough good things about it.

I stayed for 4 months and really enjoyed the property. Common areas were very clean and it was very very quiet- no partyers or loud music etc. Wilson was a great landlord- easy to get a hold of and very helpful. I would stay again

Great views

This rental property is in an awesome location with a great view of Sleeping Lady and Denali. The location has easy access to shopping and restaurants, as well as local hospitals and other business. It is within 15 minutes from the airport but you don't hear the air traffic. I felt safe while staying in this rental property and the building is secure. The property manager/owner is friendly and responsive to any needs.

The perfect place!

This studio was the perfect size for me, being a solo traveling healthcare student! It was clean, modern, and fully furnished with brand new appliances. Walker Properties went out of their way to make sure I felt safe and comfortable throughout the duration of my 3 month stay and replied very quickly to any questions or needs I may have had. They even shoveled and plowed the snow from the driveway and steps regularly. There is also parking right in front of the studio door and great lighting in the dark on the front porch so I felt very safe getting to my car in the mornings and coming home at night. I am very grateful I found this studio!

Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with this place, especially in regards to the Leasing Consultant Mr.Wilson. The staff made me feel at home, even though I am on the other side of the country (from Ga)! Mr.Wilson has always been a great help and you'll be in great hands if you work with him! Very quiet area, and the neighbors are very nice and respectful! If you are looking for a place to call home that will treat you like family, look no further!

Fox Dan Studio Suite

I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of Wilson Walker who patiently answered my questions and assisted with rearranging the Studio Suite to fit my preferences and taste. The Fox Dan Studio is spacious, clean, with large windows, lots of light! and attractive decor. Having a washer and dryer on site is so convenient, not to mention having your own deck as well as a private entrance to the Studio. The entire complex is park-like and well designed with easy access to shopping centers and stores along with peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

South Anchorage studio 202

This studio suite was perfect for my needs. Wilson was a very engaging and accommodating host. The property itself was in spectacular condition and very comfortable to stay at, as well as very secure. I would definitely stay here longer if I wasnt relocating!

3bedroom house

Nice and spacious, this house has everything to satisfy the family needs! We enjoyed our stay for 3 months. 3 large bedrooms, enormous living room, good size kitchen! Large deck with BBQ. All appliances are new, In-suit washer and dryer make your life easier! 5 minutes drive to groceries/drugstore, 7 minutes walk to the school stadium. The landlord is a very accommodating and responsible person. My 5 stars to this property!
