Adorbale Space

I stayed in the lower unit of L & R's rental while in clinical at Baptist Hospital through WFUSOM. The space was perfect for my needs, had everything necessary for short term living, and was in a fantastic, quiet neighborhood. There was a park very close that was perfect for jogging through, and walking in the neighborhood felt very safe. There were stores nearby and the hospital was less than 5 minutes away while the university was less than 10. The face time call with the owners was appreciated to be able to meet them virtually and ask any questions that I had. I had a minor issue of one light bulb being burned out that I could not reach to replace, and they very expediently had it taken care of. The shower was fabulous and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners were a delight to interact with- it felt like "home" for the short time I was there. I would definitely stay here again if the need arose!

perfect location

My partner and I stayed at L&Rs home for 3 months while on assignment at Wake Forest Baptist. From the very beginning, they came off as super welcoming and nice people. They requested a FaceTime call so we could talk face to face about the house and the surrounding area. The house itself is on a quiet street, a quick walk to a beautiful park with walking trails. All you need within a 5 minute drive- groceries, restaurants, gyms, coffee. And being so close to Baptist hospital was such a perk! The home owners clearly spent a lot of time on making the home unique and inviting. The front patio and back porch were both relaxing spots to sit in the sun on our off days; perfect for reading a book or just listening to all the birds. My next favorite part of the house is the kitchen. Great quality appliances and a large kitchen island made us excited to cook! The living room couch is sooo comfortable to recline in and take a nap. The king size bed in the master bedroom is comfortable but a bit on the softer side. I loved master bathroom shower, felt luxurious! Literally the ONLY downside is that there is another tenant in the downstairs unit. Theres a door to a staircase but it is locked from both sides and there is some sound proofing. There really is not a lot of noise coming from downstairs unless they have people over- you can hear muffled voices. Nothing too bothersome at all. We had a couple maintenance issues that were dealt with almost immediately by the homeowners/property manager. They were super on top of it and made sure any repairs worked with our schedule. We were able to meet the owners when they came to town and they are such wholesome people! They really care about their home and seem to always want to improve it in some way. They are very responsive to texts and calls. 10/10 recommend staying here!

This rental is a gem! The location is so close to WFB hospital; the hospital is less than a 5 min drive through a beautiful neighborhood. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and nearby everything! Short drive to grocery stores, retailers, multiple good restaurants. The apartment is adorable. It is tastefully decorated and the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The design is amazing! You can tell that the owners put much effort into design, practicality, and comfort for the tenant. The kitchen is very well appointed. The bathroom (that shower!) is great. In unit W/D all to yourself. The living room space is comfortable and inviting; they even provided comfortable blankets and pillows for you to enjoy and relax on those few days off you get while traveling. The bedroom is very large, nice comfy bed with top of the line linens. The closet is spacious. The black out curtains were PERFECT and helped me sleep during daylight. Plenty of light with blinds open! GREAT rental! A++!

Amazing stay!

I am a home health contract nurse and stayed here for 3 months. L and R were amazing and made sure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect for my job and accessible to everything! A beautiful park, ice cream, and a diner were all within walking distance and everything else was just a short drive away. Hiking and biking was all within 20-30 minutes. I loved biking around Salem lake and hiking pilot mountain and hanging rock. I highly recommend this apartment!!!!
