Lovely Unit With The Best Host

I stayed here for 4 months during clinical rotations. It was just as pictured and Anna was the best host! She was very accommodating and worked quickly to fix any issues around the unit. It's close to NJ transit which is nice for quick trips to the city. I'd come back to stay here, so if you're looking for a place I recommend this one!

You won't regret living at Carriage House

Miss Anna made the whole process simple and easy from browsing to leasing she stayed in contact and on top of things the whole way. The apartment is beautiful and looks exactly as shown. The apartment is luxe, comfortable and very spacious. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Anna is a very gracious host. Yes she lives on the property and is alway available for your needs and if you're lucky she might even cook you dinner. She also updates her guest on events, festivals and even road closures which helps with getting to and from work. She found out I enjoyed Broadway Shows and was able to get discounted tickets for me. The amenities are wonderful and Anna is not only a great host but will also become a friend. I cannot recommend Carriage House enough. When I moved in, I had enough basic supplies I didn't need to shop for coffee, soap, dishwasher pods, tide pods and body wash for three weeks. If you see this property available, like Nike, Just Do It.

Ana is the best!

Ana is an amazing person! Her career and commitment to her community are very admirable! She is accommodating and very helpful. The studio had everything I needed.

quaint neighborhood of Victorian style houses pleasant neighborhood close to bus and train shopping and restaurants You will go up the stairs in the back and find yourself on your own porch complete with outdoor furniture. Open the front door and wala here is your living room ,with desk , TV, closet and storage is adequate. The bed is stored in the wall and is so very comfortable. The kitchen has a microwave that is also an air fryer, refrigerator , pantry,sink and coffee station The bathroom is spacious and the tub is amazing (Me and epsom salts had a nightly meeting) Laundry basket, towels , washcloths,,and some toiletries provided. The Host thought of everything I would need during my stay, She was also an encyclopedia of information on how to get places and things to do. Conversation with the host is always pleasant and she is a storehouse of historical information. She provided me with frequent texts on all the upcoming events available. I definitely would stay here again

Fabulous Experience

Look No Further! This rental is beyond Amazing. It is located in Historic District of Downtown Plainfield near major public transportations, near several local hospitals and has plenty of shopping. The lodging is private and respectful. The amenities are comfortable and very well maintained. I enjoyed the local hiking at Watchung Reservation which is a few miles away. This rental offered everything I needed and more as a travel nurse. The owner is truly an amazing Host and now an Amazing friend. She provides every necessity and more for each unit she rents. I always felt safe and comfortable while staying here. A" makes you feel right at home and keeps you updated on local activities and suggested tourist things to visit. She made me feel like not only a tenant but friend and family. This historic home is definitely the Home Away from Home experience and the Host is phenomenal. I will be returning. She does have several units all for your different needs so look at all her listings.

Roller Coaster Experience

Roller Coaster Ride: My experience with LANDLORD My time renting from A. [LANDLORD] was quite the adventure, though not in the way one would hope for. From the beginning, their passive-aggressive communication style added an unexpected flair to our interactions. The drama seemed to be a constant companion, making every request or concern feel like a scene from a soap opera. If personal space is a priority, brace yourself. A. [LANDLORD] has a knack for being all-up-in-your-business, turning mundane matters into dramatic episodes. Privacy felt like an elusive concept in their world. While the property itself was decent, the constant tension and unnecessary theatrics overshadowed any positive aspects. If you're up for a daily dose of passive-aggression and drama, As [LANDLORD]rental might be the perfect stage. Otherwise, you might want to explore less theatrical housing options.

Home away from home

The room is in a nice Victorian house in the historical district of Plainfield. Route 22 is close by allows for easy access to shopping. The Watchung Reservation is 10 minutes away with gorgeous trails as well as the Great Swamp Refuge. A is a very gracious host who will care about your stay and comfortability. If you need any advice about the area or even someone to talk to, A is there for you. She is a mother as well as a host and cares for anyone who passes through her timeless home.

Amazing Stay

A (the host) is an amazing host. She is so kind and welcoming and makes every effort to make sure you have everything you need. It felt more like staying at a family member's house than anything. The space itself is well taken care of and has everything you need. The private driveway with off street parking is great, and if you have questions about the area at all, I can say I would go on runs through the neighborhood every week without issue. It was perfect for me while on my clinical rotation and I hope that I will get to stay there again in the future!

Perfect place!

A is the best landlord! She is so friendly, kind, hospitable, and attentive. She made sure I had everything I needed. I can't say enough good things about her! The space was perfect and well-maintained, in a great neighborhood, and provided an easy commute. Very close to public transportation. I felt very safe and at home here.

An Oasis in the Desert

A is an amazing host and her property has an absolutely unique charm. She cares about her guests and treats us like family and she's especially in tune with the needs of traveling medical professionals. I return back to visit her whenever I'm in the area. One of the great things about this property is the ability to travel to NYC via the train, which is just a block away. She is close to major hospitals and access to highways is simple. And... A is one of the most fascinating people I have had the pleasure to meet in my journeys. We have spent many an evening talking about world and local events while sitting on her front porch. There've even been times when that talk went on until sunrise. So, what are you waiting for? Grab this gem before someone beats you to it.

Really nicely appointed with all the stuff you need -small fridge, microwave, TV, Wifi, big bathroom, couch, comfortable bed etc... Most importantly though, is that A created a safe and welcoming environment. She took her role as more of a host than a landlord and cares for all her quests in a very warm way. If you want to stay in your own private space, in a home environment and only need to bring a suitcase this is the spot. A is an amazing human being that everyone should have some time to get to know.

Rest and Relaxation

My stay ,from beginning to end, was one of comfort and stability. It might as well be my home away from home due to manner in which A (the host) set up the room and how she interacted with me. As a travel scientist I have to make sure that I have a warm and safe place to rest after work and that the environment is one catered to professionals...specifically one that mitigates covid exposure to the best of their ability. This place went above and beyond that, to the policies enforced within the home and all the way to the hospital grade cleaning supplies that were always within reach of me. A is a phenomenal host and her home welcomes you with open arms. I will definitely be booking here again the next time i`m in New Jersey and can say with full confidence if you`re looking for a convenient access point to the city and local hospitals as well as an environment that fosters peace then look no further.
