Unfair deposit deduction and hostile host

Stayed a month. Host accused me of breaking her washing machine immediately after I used it, then apologized next day for being rude. After I left, she kept $225 of my $650 deposit for missing items: a blanket, bed pillow, decorative pillow. I did take a blanket & two pillows to the beach by accident - they were left in my car, not damaged or lost. But she claims they were brand new and part of a "coordinated set," charging $225 for clearly old bedding in a worn-down unit. She also added charges for "inconvenience" and "replacement effort," which feels like an excuse to keep my money. $225 for used pillows and a blanket is completely unreasonable. Host is quick to accuse, slow to be fair. Would not stay again.

perfect home away from home.

Slice of Heaven "N" L.A is the perfect home away from home. It is a big spacious place that amplifies your privacy. The neighborhood is amazing and safe with plentiful parking. S is an amazing host that goes above and beyond for her tenants. She was truly a Godsent to me last year. She actually cares and is very helpful. I 100% recommend.

Ms. S' house is very spacious, clean, cute and well decorated. The space includes 2 separate rooms with queen- and twin-size beds, desk, armoire with tv and cable, dining area, dish cabinet and closet area. She has heaters for the wintertime and well-ventilated windows and fans for the summer. The entrance is right next to the garden, with your own private side entrance. Very easy to find parking on the street and I felt safe at night due to the extra security of the gate. She has a kitchenette with everything you need and a nice size refrigerator with freezer. The washer and dryer are right next to the bedroom door with access to the stove if you want to cook a meal. Ms. S is an excellent communicator, always responsive to my inquiries, check on me to see how I was doing, offer suggestions for places to eat, and respectful of my privacy. Most of all she is an absolutely wonderful person to be around! I would highly recommend S' place to stay at in Los Angeles.

Great location

The owner was nice and Friendly. I enjoyed my stay during my travel assignment. Great locations close to the mail and restaurants. Also If you like the outdoors there's plenty of park areas for jogging and hiking.
