Stay Away
Avoid this place. I have lived here a few months and was not told about the condition. They have a little terrier type dog that barks loudly and continuously throughout the day at the slightest noise. Extremely Irritating. This place is in need of repairs. Closet doors bent and hanging off tracks, shower knob is stuck forcing very hot water most of time, ceiling light makes a loud scratching noise which is annoying, people will be using your bathroom a good deal of the time as she entertains a lot. This woman is very loud and so are her guests. They yell a good portion when visiting. Kitchen cabinet door always falling down/no screws (very ghettto like). She will say repairs will be made and never are. If you are looking for privacy, this isn't the place for you. $925 is ridiculous amount for a small room with all these nusances. There are many other rooms in this area which are much cheaper ($750-$850) and nicer, just look at map. Take a viewing and see for yourself. Not a good choice
Travel nurse
This place was a prime location to stay, right next to the mall and restaurants. The hosts were kind and sweet. The room I stayed had everything I needed and was able to use the kitchen freely. There is also a nice pool in the backyard that is open throughout the year. I didnt get to use it but it was nice to sit right next to it and enjoy my coffee. They also have a small dog that loves being pet. I did night shifts and didnt have a problem sleeping during day time. I always wear ear plugs while sleeping in case neighbors mowed their lawn. Otherwise, the neighborhood is quite and safe.
Quiet and Good Value
My husband and I are both traveling nurses and had the pleasure of meeting the lovely homeowners, L & W, who were gracious hosts towards us. As with any older home, this home had a few challenges that happened during our stay such as AC and washer/dryer problems, but these were quickly addressed by the homeowners who spared no expense making sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed their pool, which they kept professionally clean, and had access to their kitchen. We mostly cooked from a microwave provided up in our unit, but that was our choice. Having a spacious living area with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom made us feel like we had our own private apartment above the garage. We made friends with their little dog, and never had any issues with fleas because he was not usually allowed upstairs. I think that they have a great value for travelers staying here, and this space is mostly away from the main house. Quiet and private. We felt lucky for finding this place, and grateful to them!
Nice, quiet place to stay
This is a great place to stay that is quiet and spacious. I loved the neighborhood too. The owners were very sweet and made sure I felt right at home. I wish I had found this place sooner during my travel assignment!
