Home away from home
Amy and Jim were one of the best landlords I have rented from ! My friend and I are both healthcare travelers and enjoyed our time here . It was perfect ! Close to the highway and we felt very safe . We had our privacy but also had them around if needed which was very convenient. Anything that we needed they were right there to help . I would recommend staying here and if I ever return back to the Renton area I would 100% rent from them . Thank you Amy and Jim for everything.
Proceed with caution
I'll start off by saying this place deserves the 2 stars because the unit itself is very nice, spacious and equipped with the essentials. The reason for my low rating is because of the owner and how overbearing she was. I had frequent panic attacks and emotional stress during my stay because of how quick the owner was to get mad at us, even though we were following her long list of rules. Towards the end of our stay, there was an issue about how many guests we were allowed and the owner felt it was okay to be verbally terrorize my roommate and I in person over this issue. She belittled us calling us children and practically bullied us into cutting our lease short. As a frequent traveling healthcare professional, I've never had an owner be so disrespectful and passive aggressive towards me. I would say be sure to read the lease before signing and ensure all parties follow the guidelines of the lease.
Home away from home
A and J's place is in a great location. Safe neighborhood and close to I5 and several hospitals; 15 minutes to Swedish First Hill for day shift. It is a perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and has whatever you need. A and J are wonderful hosts. They responded quickly to any concern or issue we had. They are so kind and easily approachable. Loved staying here and will be back again.
The best FF in Seattle
This is the best place and value you can find in Seattle. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a long term stay. You are close to I5 and commute was easy for day shift to Swedish first hill (15 minutes). The landlords are amazing and when the internet wasnt ideal they worked tirelessly until it was working perfectly. The bathroom and shower are great, both bedrooms are large and have king beds. I cant say enough about this place and how how much I will miss it, truly felt like a home away from home.
Large apt close to everything
I spent 6 months here during the summer and fall doing a travel assignment in Burien. Fabulous commute and its only 15 mins to downtown Seattle. Less than 10 mins away is a mall, tons of restaurants, and a large outdoor shopping center. The apt itself is very spacious with a large kitchen thats great for cooking. Its always cool inside which is amazing natural AC in the summer but youll need the heat the rest of the year. The shower is amazing and theres a stacked washer/dryer in the bathroom. Only one bedroom has a window and the bureau is in the other room, so I just used the second bedroom as my own giant closet. The landlords live right upstairs and are very quiet. They keep early hours and usually have company on weekends so probably better for a day shifter. Things to note: the WiFi is slow and spotty and zoom calls on the laptop were impossible; you will find many large spiders get inside during the summer; and the house is at the very end of a dead end street so part of their front/side yard is public property. Theres stone steps that go down through the trees to a little street behind them. While sitting on the patio you will see people walk through. Overall its a decent find in a safer area than downtown and perfect for a traveler.
Fantastic Find in South Seattle
I had a fantastic three months here! The separate entrance and patio give wonderful privacy. It is street parking, but there was always an open location. The neighborhood is very friendly and quiet! The property was spectacularly clean and beautifully decorated with a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. I loved the owners who were both welcoming and very accommodating; with obvious familiarity with the neighborhood and Seattle in general- I used them frequently for recommendations for restaurants and hiking! I would recommend this location to others and would stay here again anytime!
