Invasive mold in his units. Repairs not made.
I wish I had a better review to leave. There are countless habitability issues on his property: electrical issues (the other tenants had to reset the breakers at least 3-4 times daily because fuses would blow). The washer and dryer blow the electricity as well. My unit had airborne black mold infestation and I found it because I got sick from the unit. We had to throw out all the furniture, and gave him MONTHS to make the repairs which he ultimately refused to do. I am still fighting to get my rent back because it is illegal to collect rent for an unhabitable unit in LA County. He comes off as a kind, gentle soul but he is actually a wolf in sheeps clothing. He plays on the naivety of good people and is very unethical. I wish I had better things to say, because he does come off as a nice and safe man, but I would not recommend renting from him: SLUMLORD.
