Amazing Landlord and Home

Mary Lou was absolutely exceptional! She was very communicative and accommodating. She kept a clean property and always made sure you had everything you needed all while letting you have privacy. She even brought baked goods over occasionally which were very yummy! The house itself had everything I needed and was very cozy. So not hesitate on this property, it was perfect! Would stay here again and again (:

Cozy place for extended stay!

Nice clean place that is pretty much close to everything. Pretty new air conditioner that is a must for Fresno especially in the summer time. I stayed in the cottage behind the house and it was nice to have our own privacy. Parking is never an issue due to abundance of space in the neighborhood. The gated area ensured added safety and was appreciated. Overall good place to stay at with the conveience of proximity to work!

Great stay

I stayed here for about two months and it was nice. The landlord was very kind and reasonable. The AC worked very well (which was much needed in the summer months). All of the appliances worked well. I felt safe with the gate and security features. I would recommend staying here.

Highly recommend this space!

I cannot say enough great things about my stay here! M was so helpful in getting me situated to the living space and the Fresno area. She was so kind during my stay and was great company even after a long workday. She respects your space and is there for any questions or concerns you have. She was beyond helpful when I was having car troubles and was a great helping hand during this time. I also oved the space itself and it was always so clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I cannot recommend this space enough!

A Lovely Stay

Do not pass up this beautiful cottage. M has equipped it with everything you could possibly need. It is clean, private and secure. I feel lucky to have found it for my relocation stay! I relied on previous reviews when "shopping" and found it to be just as expected. Thank you M!

Clean and affordable

Very clean, affordable property located fairly close to hospitals. Only downside is there is no washer/dryer located in unit.

Good Stay

I had a wonderful experience renting from this property owner. She was extremely welcoming and accommodating throughout the entire rental process. The room was clean ,comfortable and tastefully decorated .The property was in excellent condition and well maintained. I would highly recommend renting from her. My stay was enjoyable and hassle free.

Awesome Stay

I am a college student that stayed in the comfy cottage for my summer internship. M was very kind, and everything was direct and clear. Everything was sparkling clean when I arrived, and all accommodations were as promised. Air conditioning worked very well. Plenty of cooking materials. It was very nice to have my own living space, and a private yard area. The cottage also has an alarm system and there is a camera covering the front door, which made me feel safe. Her cat, Bright Eyes, was very sweet. I would stay here again with zero hesitation.

Perfectly Private, Delightful Host

The host makes this a very comforting experience, providing all the essentials upon move in, and has just the right balance of knowing when to inquire about your needs and when to give you space. Altogether, the best experience in Fresno by far!

Great home away from home

This property worked out well for me. It has everything I needed and M is great. I love the private patio for the unit. I also love the fact that I can park inside the locked gate just a few steps away from my front door. The space is perfect and everything you need is there. Its very convenient to be able to walk in with your clothes and be all set for the stay. Thank you for being a great host M .

Short Drive, Quiet Stay

I work at nights, so I sleep during the day. The place is quiet, bed is comfortable, no complaints from me. M will work with you as long as you express your needs. the kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated which is nice. the place is just 10 minutes from CRMC. M is a nice lady and very accommodating.

Comfy cottage

The comfy cottage is exactly as described in pictures. Really beautiful and comfortable. The full equipped kitchen is awesome to prepare any meal and even bake! Bed and couch are so cozy. The location is great, very close to stores and it was just 10 minutes away to Community regional where I worked. Street parking was never an issue! Mary is such a pleasant lady and it was always a pleasure to see her and chat with her. I always felt safe and the cottage also comes with a new security system!

Insensitive host, horrible accommodations

First of all it's very unhygienic to have cats all over the counters, tables and kitchen sink. I work 6 days a week and usually would do laundry on the last night so that I wouldn't have to spend my one off day doing laundry and running errands, laundry isn't allowed in the evenings. The host M won't sleep with the heater on so in the mornings it's freezing cold , you can look back , the last several weeks has been about 30 degrees in the morning. towards the end of my stay there she provided me with a space heater which was the size of a water bottle and didn't help at all. Microwave was not working and so she offered the toaster oven as substitute. The water heater was down for a week, had a find other accommodations and wasn't offered any reimbursement until I said something about it and was offered $133 , the minimum cost of a hotel is $100 a night. I have pics, text messages and a whole lot more to say but this only allows a minimum number of words to type.

Great place to stay

I stayed in the cozy bedroom and would highly recommend it to other travelers. M L is good about keeping the house clean and is great with communication about accommodations or needs. Not to mention she's a great cook and bakes the best sweets, which she was always willing to share. I was a bit worried about the area at first, not knowing much about Fresno, but the neighborhood is quite safe and I felt comfortable parking in the street. The room itself was indeed cozy and a nice place of respite from a long day of work. There was enough storage space in the room, the kitchen and the fridge for all of my items and belongings. Appliances and kitchen tools were all in good working order, and if it wasn't, Mary Lou got on it right away. Overall such a homey stay that made for a pleasant first travel assignment.

Cozy bedroom / shared bathroom

***this review is for the cozy bedroom located inside the main house**** Bedroom was nicely decorated. Had a chest of drawers, night stand, desk and chair. Everything was clean and looks brand new. Theres plenty of space for a traveler. Bathroom is conveniently located right next door to bedroom which is very nice. Bathroom is shared and during my stay everything was kept immaculate. Landord cleaned the house weekly and even cleaned my bedroom (thank you!). Kitchen was modern with all new high end appliances. Gas stove and everything you need for baking and cooking was available. Nice and large front yard with space to wash car. Mary, the landlord was the nicest person ever! Truly felt like living with a old time friend. She cooked me dinner numerous times. Even baked banana bread and cookies. If you like animals theres a sweet loving cat named rizo and hes the cutest thing ever. Hes an old cat who loves hard pets. The stay was comfortable and I would book again! 5 stars

It was a lovely stay!

I had amazing time here! M was very attentive and made the place really cute and relaxing! I thoroughly enjoyed myself, thought the location was prime, got good use out of all the amenities especially the ac, WiFi, tv with tons of streaming options and cable, and amazing kitchen and full bathroom! I would definitely rent from M again if I ever come back to town!

Perfect Place :)

I had a lovely stay here! Mary Lou is very attentive and created a beautiful space to relax in after a long day at work! The only issue was the door knob broke one day and she fixed it immediately! I thought it was a great location (ten min to CRMC, close to airport and freeways), really well kept, and very private! I would definitely rent again :)
