The Best Place!

This is such a wonderful little sanctuary! So comfortable, all the amenities, fantastic landlady, close to three different grocery stores and easy walking distance to cute neighborhoods with good restaurants. I truly cannot recommend it highly enough.

This place is perfect, has everything you need! Thalia and Mike were so friendly, easy to contact and helpful. I loved how close it was to OHSU and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. There was a lot to do in the area, you can walk to a coffee shop and a short drive to other restaurants/bars/shops. I would definitely stay here again.

Spacious & Comfortable

This lovely apartment is clean, quiet and spacious with comfortable furnishings. The large kitchen has everything needed to cook meals, including many extras that make meal prep a breeze. The garden outside the front door is a bonus and is a quiet, private space to enjoy both from inside through the large windows or outside in comfortable Adirondack chairs. Parking is always available and right out front. The hosts are thoughtful, kind and accommodating. Also, the monthly cleaning (included) was an amazing luxury that was much appreciated. Highly recommend this well appointed apartment!

Lovely apartment in a quiet neighborhood

During my husband's procedure at OHSU, we rented this apartment as it was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood 15 minutes from the OHSU Clinic. Following his release from the hospital, it served as an ideal place for his recovery. The apartment boasts a thoughtful and well-planned design, paying meticulous attention to every detail. Additionally, the furnishings provided a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. One of the highlights of the apartment was the private patio, which provided a serene setting for enjoying morning coffee & unwinding in the evenings. I cannot praise Thalia and her husband enough for their exceptional hospitality as hosts. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our entire stay. Their responsiveness and genuine concern for our well-being truly touched us, and we greatly appreciated their thoughtfulness. Based on our experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this rental to anyone in search of a peaceful and accommodating retreat.

Perfect Place

This was the most thought out space I have rented on FF. T was very welcoming and available to me. The space was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Which is most important to me as a traveler that I can have quiet when needed. I was sad that I could not rent the space for my whole contract. However, if you want a nice quiet place near grocery, and good food. Then this is the space.

I wish I could have stayed longer!

I could not be more thankful for Mike and Thalia, they are the best landlords I have ever had. Anytime I needed anything they were very responsive and accommodating. The shared laundry room was never a problem for the 4 months that I was there and the monthly cleaning service was incredible. The apartment has everything that you would need in your travels. There is plenty of storage, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is a great size stocked with everything you would need. Even though this is kind of a basement apartment, there is plenty of natural light that comes in the windows. I was there for the tail end of the summer and start of fall; the apartment stayed cool and the heaters kept the space very warm during cold nights. There is plenty of privacy and I would absolutely stay here again if I ever come back to Portland. It is also a short drive or even walk to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. 10/10 would highly recommend!!

SE Studio

I really enjoyed my stay at the SE studio! The space is very clean, open, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was the most impressed with the kitchen - I love to cook and everything you could ever need to prepare a meal can be found here. You can tell a lot of thought went into making sure the space was comfortable and had everything one would need for a stay away from home. The owners are both very friendly and respond quickly to text messages. The laundry room is a shared space but was always available when I needed to use it. The neighborhood is very lovely and I always felt safe while staying here! It's in close proximity to a lot of cool restaurants and places you might want to check out in Portland. I had an overall great experience staying here and would highly recommend it!

home sweet home

Thalia and Mike are great! Super friendly, easy going and easy to work with. The space is really well thought out, with great lighting, design, and a comfortable feel. Location is easy walking distance to several solid options for food and drink, and easy biking to much of Portland. The lanai is great for quiet contemplative morning coffee. The only downside to the apartment is that sound can be an issue, as it is a basement apartment and sound travels incredibly well to both the main house upstairs and the downstairs apartment (even moreso than a normal house). The few times it was an issue was easily addressed in a friendly text by either side, just be forewarned that normal muffled conversation may be heard between floors, and the apartment will require consideration of this fact for a true night owl who is used to listening to music w/o headphones, watching netflix, having guests etc. That said, I would gladly stay here again without hesitation. I'll definitely miss this place!
