A Place where you can call Home

The first day I met Ida, she was so welcoming even Ms Maisy(sweet, friendly, and cuddle-lover doggy) was welcoming you and introducing the place. She and M care about the place and your stay. She will answer you back as soon as she is available. The room is exactly same as the picture. Cozy, vintage, and safe. You will feel like you are at home with family. You will find thing that you need in the kitchen, mini oven and microwave. When it gets christmas season, she lights up the house with multicolor light bulbs to give you the holiday vibes. In the summer time, the garden in front of the window is filled with flowers. The weather around the area, there is nothing to talk about; Its Santa Monica, not to hot not to cold! It is placed at quite neighborhood. I never had any problem even sleeping in the day time. I am going to miss this place for sure.

My favorite place!

Let me start by saying how welcoming Ida and M were when I first arrived. I got there super early in the morning and everything was squared away and ready to go! The place itself is gorgeous and cozy as can be. The shared entrance is not a problem and i felt super secure in my little cubby. The bed is sooo comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious- it feels like stepping into a woodland spa! Over the course of my stay Ida and her family were so friendly and accomodating, Ida is always working on her garden and it always looks so beautiful. There was a plumbing issue during my stay and Ida took action minutes after getting my message and the issue was promptly resolved! I loved every minute of my time here and being a mile from the beach was a definite bonus! I still miss my cubby near the beach and I can't wait to return! I cannot recomend Ida and her cubby enough, you wint regret staying here. It'll feel like home the moment you walk in. Thank you Ida and family for everything!

Quaint & Relaxing

This place was very sweet and in a quiet neighborhood. Also, I and R's dog, Maizy is the cutest thing! I was a bit chilly at times with the air conditioning, yet Ida always wants to make sure you are happy and definitely accommodates. I also really enjoyed relaxing/working or getting some nice sun in their beautiful backyard. Great people and I would recommend it!

Cozy Studio in Peaceful Neighborhood

Idas converted studio is the perfect place for a solo traveler or couple trying to enjoy the serenity of Santa Monica! While somewhat small inside, ample outdoor space and close proximity to public parks and the beach make this an incredible place to stay while visiting Southern California. The suburban residential neighborhood was as safe and peaceful as possible and provided a great place to settle down for our extended stay.

Home Away From Home

I can't recommend staying with Ida highly enough. The space was clean and exactly as represented in the photos. I was so intentional with her decorations and furnishings and it shows! I had as much privacy as I wanted, but seeing I watering her garden was always a bright spot in my day. She really cares about her tenants and was always just a text or phone call away. The location is wonderful, too! I definitely hope to stay with I again should I come back to Santa Monica.

Home away from home

I loved staying at this property; the cabin has a lovely homey feel to it with rustic decorations. I is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I stayed there with my fiance and the cabin was the perfect size for two people. The day bed is a twin and has a trundle bed underneath that can pop up and be pushed together to make a king-size bed. There is a work station that was perfect for my fiance working from home everyday. The bathroom is beautiful- i loved the stones in the shower. One of the things i loved most about his property is the outside seating area which lights up with a romantic glow every night. The large, beautiful fountain outside attracts birds of all types, including hummingbirds which are fun to watch in the early morning hours. The outside seating area is like another room in the cabin, as my fiance and i had it to ourselves pretty much the whole time during our stay. We would stay at I's cabin again in a heart beat!

Calm and Comfortable:)

This property instantly felt like a safe place to unwind and relax after a busy day or a great launching point to explore the area such as the beaches, biking the Strand or hiking any of the many trails. If I was in for the night I would take long walks or an evening run in the quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The cabin was a comfortable size for one person and had a lovely garden patio that was great for reading or just relaxing on the patio furniture. The private bathroom and the fully stocked kitchen completes the little cabin and I never felt like I was walking through someones private life. The front gate entrance puts you in the side yard and the private patio is in the back of the property right outside the separate door to the cabin. The owners are very nice, respectful of privacy and responsive to any questions or concerns. Enjoyed my stay here immensely!!

Cozy Cabin!

The Santa Monica Cabin is very comfortable and homey! I enjoyed my stay here! Very close to hospitals and the ocean! The neighborhood and safe and quiet. The owners are very responsive if you need anything but also give you your privacy! I definitely enjoyed my stay here!

Cozy & Comfortable!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at the Santa Monica Cabin! Very private, cozy home perfect for 1 guest. The homeowners were wonderful and always were very quick to reply to my needs! The shower is my favorite and I loved that the day bed had a trundle which was able to be pulled out turning it into a much larger bed to rest on! The neighborhood is extremely quiet at night and I never found the homeowners to be disruptive. Ida and her husband are amazing! :).
