Wonderful Stay!

I had a wonderful stay here during my summer internship. I came all the way from the East Coast and did not have a car, but it was very easy to commute to Pasadena for work and DTLA for fun activities via the nearby bus stops/Metro Micro. The studio is clean and comfortable, and Michael is a kind, helpful, and responsive person, so I was able to have a wonderful stress-free stay. It's a good property for single travelers and has all the amenities you need, and is secured behind a gate. I will truly miss Dudley (his dog) and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay near DTLA :)

Cozy studio

The Gambier Street studio was perfect for my month-long stay while working at the hospital. The space was comfortable and well-suited for relaxing after long work hours. While I don't cook much, the setup was ideal for my needs. Parking was generally easy to find, and I only had one late night when I had to park a few cars down. Michael was fantasticresponsive and helpful with any questions I had, making both the move-in and move-out process seamless. I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a convenient and cozy stay in the area.

Gambier St.

Great little place to stay for my transition to LA for work! Michael was super responsive with any questions I had and made me feel welcome. The unit is behind a locked and gated fence so I felt very secure staying here, especially being a female alone. I always found parking within 3 cars of the front door, except for maybe 2 times in one month I had to park a bit down the street but that wasn't a problem. Overall I recommend staying here for your short term needs!

Comfortable stay!

Stayed here for two months while on a contract at Los Angeles General. Location of the studio is very convenient, it took about 10 minutes or less to get to work. Landlords are super nice, helpful, and communicate well. They put together a welcoming guide for your stay in the studio that was very helpful and informative. The studio was very comfortable and clean, which is needed for good sleep! The area was nice and quiet. The property of the studio is gated, which is also reassuring for a single female traveling alone. I am very grateful for my stay here and would stay here again!

Great Cozy Studio!

My stay at this studio in El Sereno was great! I highly recommend for those traveling alone. Neighborhood was quiet throughout my stay, very peaceful. The other tenants kept to themselves, rarely ever saw or heard them. Landlord does have a dog, sweetest pup! The studio has everything you need, small but very cozy. For someone who cooks a lot of meals at home I thought it'd be difficult having only one burner but I made it work. I never felt the need to buy another one. Landlord M very pleasant to rent from, always checked in to make sure everything was going well. I stayed here for about 3 months while working at Adventist White Memorial. A lot of parking available, but I took the 78 bus to the gym and work, just a 10 min walk from the property, super easy and convenient! There's a ton of restaurants and stores nearby, it was great for someone like me who didn't have a car out there.

Wonderful stay

The Gambier studio was perfect, plenty of storage and had everything I needed. It's close to lots of great areas. M is a great landlord, always responsive and easy to talk to. I enjoyed my 3 months here and would rent again if I'm back in the area.

Perfect Little Nook

This is the perfect amount of space for a solo traveler. It has plenty of lighting, cabinet space for food, lots of storage in the bathroom (a pro if youre a girl and have lots of products lol), and a big closet. The TV is the perfect size for the space as well. If youre working at USC Keck, its literally about 7 minutes away from the parking facility. Beautiful views of homes on hills. Close proximity to Dodger stadium, easy access to go to Burbank, Glendale, NoHo, DTLA, Koreatown, etc. Not to mention, M is so down to earth and accommodating. Its hard to find personable landlords that see you beyond being a source of income, but hes a gem. Plus the little doggies running around will never not make you smile.

Perfect stay!

I stayed at this studio for 5 months & it was such a great stay! The studio has everything that you need with plenty of storage. It was a quiet and safe place to come home to after a long shift. M was so great and helpful anytime I needed him. I would recommend this place to anyone and if Im ever back in the area I would book again!

Best use of space ever! (And cutest)

This place is adorable. I brought my pug with me and she loved the other dogs. The room is very efficiently laid out with space to put things away so it always looks neat. It includes a desk, large closet, small kitchenette with a counter to eat at. The bed is very comfortable and everything you need is provided, sheets, towels, cooking materials, plates, silverware, etc. Plants are thriving. If safety is an issue, the three residences are inside a locked enclosure. I didnt know this area at all, but I walked my dog up the hill and around the whole area which is beautiful. You are very close to Ascot Hills Park, a large open space with trails throughout. I cant recommend it more highly.

Great stay

I enjoyed my stay here at Michael's studio. Very comfortable and charming design. I also enjoyed playing with the dogs and their company :) I will miss Dudley! Michael was very accommodating and responsive to my needs. Also friendly and kind as well as his girlfriend. My interactions with the other tenant was okay. The bed is comfy, the water pressure is great in the bathroom and the kitchenette is small, but has the necessities to cook a meal. Having a TY here is great as well w/ Netflix and Hulu. There is plenty of storage space to my surprise. It's nice to have laundry on site. Just know it's occupied all day by the other tenant on Wednesdays. A bit of an inconvenience, but was able to work things out if I really needed to use it. Overall this place is perfect to stay for short term!
