House in Seattle, Washington
Landlord Tenure: 5 years, 11 months
Stylish and bright one-bedroom daylight apartment with a private entrance, new Bosch appliances, and front loading washer and dryer. Our home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood steps from the walking trails and wooded beauty of the Seattle ravine. Delicious restaurants, coffee, and fantastic shopping are a short walk away. We are a busy family living upstairs and you may hear our 6 year-old doing footsteps...
A stylish one bedroom mother in law apartment with open kitchen and living room, great light, new Bosch appliances.
A gorgeous, quiet neighborhood right near the foot bridges of the ravine. Walk to U Village, yummy bakery and coffee, restaurants, close to UW.
Wonderful Place to Start
I stayed in this property for a couple months while I was getting settled and starting work in Seattle. I work in South Lake Union and rely on public transportation most days. The property is conveniently located near multiple bus stops (5-10 minute walk) and the Roosevelt light rail station is ~1 mile away. There is plenty of foot traffic in the neighborhood (e.g. dog walkers, runners, etc.) and I felt comfortable walking both the park and the neighborhood at all hours. The apartment is spacious, gets plenty of natural light and is walking distance from grocery stores, restaurants, and U-Village. The kitchen is well stocked with basics; cleaning essentials and hand soaps were also available, so I didnt have to run to the store immediately upon arrival. Rachael was a wonderful host, very responsive and easy to communicate with. She is very considerate and checked in via email to make sure I was settling on OK. I absolutely recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area!
Enjoyable stay
I stayed at the Ravenna Park Retreat for a couple months. The entire unit is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, and the kitchen and bathroom are extremely well stocked with stainless steel kitchenware and organic/natural cleaning products The location itself is very quiet with quick access to nature and shops. Rachael was also very responsive to any questions or needs I had throughout my stay. I feel very lucky to have found this gem.
Safe and cozy
This was my first time using furnished finder and I had a great experience. The host was very responsive whenever I needed anything. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and Ravenna Park is just a few steps away. There is a bus stop around the corner and a few different bus routes a few blocks away. The rental was very clean and in good condition. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept on. My favorite thing was that even though its a basement apartment the full windows give lots of natural light.
Perfect Stay
The kitchen is fully stocked, more so than any other FF rental I have found. Spacious with plenty of storage. I stayed here alone and felt very safe in the neighborhood, and there was always a spot for my car right in front. 372 bus is just at the end of the street that will take you to the mall or UW Montlake. A gym, Whole Foods, and Light Rail are an easy 15 minute walk away. Landlord practices quiet hours with the house above so noise was rarely an issue. Appliances were all new and worked perfectly. Not many issues arose but the couple that did were quickly handled and R was the perfect host. It is becoming more and more rare to find a host/landlord that really cares about the space and if it works for traveling healthcare professionals but R went above and beyond with this unit and I would highly recommend it! I was sad to leave this apartment but it was not available for my extension due to it being a short term rental over the summer months.
