Great Spot in Downtown ABQ

This apartment in downtown ABQ was a great place to spend 6 months. The building and its neighbors are part of the old Albuquerque High School, and it gives the place way more character than any similarly sized apartment complex in the city, which are all pretty soulless. Everyone I had over was charmed immediately, and quite a few locals told me that they had a chance to buy a unit when it was being renovated and regretted that they hadnt. Its on central avenue, literally Route 66, and you can reach any corner of the city by car within 20 minutes. I didnt have a car, which is a crazy thing to do in Albuquerque, but this is probably the only location in town where that is feasible. Neighbors were all reasonable and respectful, and M was a great guy to rent from always responsive and totally hassle free.
