Best Landlords & Comfy Cottage House

Our stay at the Carriage House has been amazing. We loved it so much that we stayed through 3 travel nursing contracts. R, M and N made our stay so warm and made us feel so welcomed. We were new to the snow and got stuck down the street during our first week & M came out in the middle of the night to help us shovel. N has been nothing short of exceptional in keeping the property in mint condition and always available for anything we needed. The property is fully equipped with all the necessities and comforts for a travel nurse. We were minutes from the hospital and minutes from downtown and the mountains. Thank you so much for such a great experience.

Cute Downtown Cottage House

My husband and I stayed here during his first travel nurse contract at Roanoke Memorial. It's a small 2 bedroom carriage house that feels very homey. Updated kitchen and living room. Perfect for a night nurse with dark curtains in bedrooms. What made our stay even better was our kind landlords R and M and property manager Nanette. I didn't move in until about halfway through my husband's contract and they brought fresh flowers and a balloon over before I arrived. They checked on us when my husband got hurt. Anytime there was an issue, they reacted quickly and kept us up to date if anything wasn't able to be fixed that day. We greatly appreciate everything they did for us.

Amazing landlords, great property!

There are so many kind things I could say about Rick & Monica, and their housing manager Nanette! The property is just as advertised, they are attentive landlords, and always willing to improve your stay in any way! Our contract was cut short, and they were so understanding of our situation. The property is safe, clean, and in a great location. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a home in Roanoke!

No complaints & nicest, most accomodating hostesses!!

This was our first time using furnished finder and I can only say great things about our stay. The location was very convenient and was only a short drive to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and the local restaurants downtown. The house itself was very clean and we were even welcomed with fresh flowers and a basket of goodies. I felt very safe staying here. The WiFi connection was always fast and we never had any problems with it. There is a picnic table across the alley that is nice to sit at. My friend and I worked at night so we had to sleep during the day and were never bothered by noises outside. The hostesses even shared a home cooked meal with us and were always so friendly. I would recommend staying here to anyone and I would stay here again in the future! The price is very reasonable.
