Union st is a beautiful area not far from my job. Gillian was an easily accessible and calm host. She even provided me with unnecessary amenities. Privacy at the residence is top tier. I would recommend to anyone Id definitely stay here again .

Quiet/safe neighborhood close to Ellis hospital and downtown Schenectady

My stay here was overall great. There are two rooms on the first floor, one which is much larger and has a private study area with a large desk to place your personal belongings and laptop. The room was more than enough space and comfortable. There is a kitchen right next to the room which is convienent and a separate bathroom next to it. There is another person that lives upstairs, who is very friendly and will help you if there are any issues that need to be fixed. My first week, I needed an A/C unit installed because of the hot weather and it was installed that day after speaking with the landlord, who is very quick to respond by phone/text if any issues arise. The neighborhood itself is quiet and felt safe walking around or riding my bike in the area. There is street parking and there is also parking the back of the house as well. Overall, my experience here was wonderful, and it does help that its less than 5 minutes driving to Ellis Hospital. Highly recommend!!

Worst landlord ever please please avoid her

l am warning you to avoid this place. Theres no privacy. She puts camera everywhere even close to the restroom and shower. If you are going to take a bath or using the restroom, she would know. A tenant before me told me to be careful with this lady, not only she puts camera everywhere, she is very disrespectful. I had such a bad experience there. I was working 12hrs shift 5 six days a week + studying for my board exam, sometimes, l dont enough time to clean right after l cook because l am running late, she would call me at work telling to go clean and arguing with me even though that l told her l would clean when l got home. The worst part of the story she threw my food and my fruits that l left on the counter or put them on the floor in multiple occasions. I left my soap in the the shower, she removed them and put them on the floor. There was no electricity in the house for 2 days, she didnt even apologize, many, many more things l could say, I wish l could write more.

Great stay

I stayed here for long time. Very quiet and clean. Felt at home. Very safe in neighborhood, good to take walks. Good food around. Safe to walk at night, nice light decoration outside house. I enjoy my stay at the house. Wish other place like this when I travel. Will come back next time I work . Very good place to live.

Comfortable space, great location

The space is perfect for an individual or couple who are just starting out. The apartment came fully furnished, the location is very accessible to Schenectady, Union college, and the local hospital, and the landlord and super are extremely welcoming and accommodating.

Fare place to stay in Schenectady as there are many bad landlord around

The landlord is a Nurse and she was kind while I was there. However, she hasnt return my security deposit back yet. It has been almost a month since I left this property. I asked several times. The room is decent and basically equipped with things listed in the site. There was no iron, though, while there was an iron table. Second floor kitchen doesnt have a hood, so when cooking, be careful about making smoke from cooking. Landlord says the area is safe, but I heard several loud gunshot at night sometimes and the police car racing toward somebody. The house is conveniently located nearby shops and groceries.
