Carefully Reconsider

I would strongly discourage anyone from booking this property. The listing was extremely misleading — it was essentially a shed/hut located in someone’s backyard with very difficult access. Upon arrival, the gate was not functioning properly, there were spiders and bugs around the entrance, and the walkway was poorly lit, making it unsafe and difficult to enter with luggage at night. Inside, there were cobwebs near windows and outlets, loud and concerning noises from the fan and AC, and bugs inside the unit. The overall condition, cleanliness, accessibility, and setup did not feel appropriate or comfortable for a short-term stay, so I chose not to remain at the property. To make matters worse, despite these concerns, the host has refused to provide a refund unless I return and continue staying there, which I do not feel comfortable doing. I recommend that future travelers carefully reconsider booking this location.

The listing clearly and correctly describes the units size, layout, and location prior guests consistently left positive 5-star reviews on Furnished Finder and other Platforms with no issues regarding cleanliness, safety, or accessibility. The gate was fully operational and opens by pushing inward as intended, so the property was accessible. Additional outdoor lighting was installed at the property. Unsupported claims regarding bugs, cleanliness, and unsafe conditions do not reflect the actual condition of the unit. The space was professionally cleaned and prepared to arrival, like always and no prior guest has reported these issues. The guest's claim that we required her to stay in order to receive a refund is inaccurate. We offered to address the concerns she raised, but she chose to leave without providing any evidence to support for those concerns. Nevertheless, we returned her security deposit after her departure. As a courtesy, we also offered a refund if the unit was re booked, an arrangement she agreed to. Unfortunately, it appears the guest felt the space did not match the subtitled and nuances of her personal taste.The issues reported were simply an attempt to justify canceling the reservation. We encourage future guests to carefully review all listing details and photos to ensure the accommodation matches their expectations before booking.

travel healthcare worker

Perfect little space for me. I am a travel healthcare worker and needed a place to stay for a contract. The maintenance was very fast. I felt very safe staying there. I loved so much that I am returning for a 2nd contract!

Good place stay for an affordable price

I stayed for one month in this property. The place is located in a small neighborhood in Grand Prairie. It has all the essentials you need like a fridge, washer and dryer, electric stove, and microwave. The AC works really good as the entire room can get cold in a matter of minutes. There is TV and wifi which is pretty decent when you get a connection. Given that it is located in the middle of the neighborhood, there are some occasional noise you might encounter, but they provide you earplugs for those. The owner is also really accomodating for requests that I have. Overall very good place.

Paul was a great guest that we would definitely host again. Its worth clarifying that he worked nights and SLEPT DAYS, so I left some earplugs in the property after learning this.Weve never had noise complaints from previous guests in this unit or the main house, but none have worked night shifts before either.Not sure its possible to duplicate typical night-time peace and quiet during the day, for obvious reasonsnot just here, but in any neighborhood.
