I rented for 2 years and extended 6 months. Location of apartment was perfect for traveling to Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington DC, also having the Bay Bridge close by was a bonus. The area provided walking trails, golf course and local markets and eateries. My stay was very comfortable and private with a friendly neighbors. The apartment was spacious for two adults, amenities for cooking your meal, chilling watching TV or reading a book in the back patio. Joan the landlord was friendly and responsive to any issues, which were few. I enjoyed my stay exploring Arnold and Annapolis.

Beautiful, peaceful, and quiet space

We booked this property for our adulting daughter while she was going through a difficult season. She stayed here for three months. Being in such a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful place enabled her to process some hard thing, make decisions, and move on with her life.

Great Place to Stay

This apartment fit my needs perfectly. From Pennsylvania, I took a 3 month internship in Maryland and was desperate to find a place to stay. The 90 day minimum stay is hard to find so I jumped on the deal quickly. In my time here, it was always quiet and relaxing and I was typically able to make a quick run over to the golf course to hit a round after work! The location was perfect for me. I also got along with the owner very well. For the very small amount of issues that I had she was just a text or phone call away and was willing to help as soon as she possibly could. If youre looking for a nice relaxing place to stay I would highly recommend giving this apartment and beautiful area a try!

Lease meant nothing

Although a great location it was fairly expensive but I choose it as I would be traveling with my 20lb dog and the property manager agreed to let both me and my dog stay. She was not there to do a walk through when I arrived. During my stay I noticed that despite it being cleaned there were Gatorade bottles under the storage boxes, caked dust on the bed frame, and it was filled with a lot of her personal effects. The kitchen cooking space was very limited. Apparently despite my best efforts to dry and put away my dishes right away there was water damage on the counter. This is an important detail as she informed me that she would be keeping my deposit not only to pay for the counter but also threatened to come after me to pay for any days that she was unable to rent the place out due to having the space fixed. She also kept my deposit stating that I had broken a pressure cooker, one that I never used. Her lease states that the studio was to be left broom cleaned and there was a $100 cleaning fee. After the lease was signed and I had moved in she informed me that I was expected to have the rugs and sofa professionally cleaned before I leave. I suspect that she entered my studio without permission as she had sent my a text message asking that I double check that the sliding glass door was locked as she had place a storage cabinet in the back. I had asked for a receipt of my deposit 3 times. The lease said that I would be granted it in 30 days, the state of Maryland says that it is not given in 45 days the lessor does not have a right to the deposit at all. She finally gave me my receipt in March, my lease ended in December. She states that there was a delay for medical reasons. I see that she did have time to rent it to someone else though. It is a beautiful property. Its a great neighborhood, I felt safe and would often take advantage to being so close to the grocery store. It is very centralized, I felt close to everything I needed. I like the owner at first, it seems that she was not prepared to take a tenant with a dog. I found this location by putting out a mass request on Furnished Finders, and she responded to me stating that she would be open to having my dog. She had an opportunity to adjust the lease to put in the requirement that the place be professionally cleaned with the pet. Having cost information would have caused me to continue my search for a place that better meet my needs. In our discussions she states that she will not rent to a pet owner again, which is probably wise. I often asked her if my pet was a bother, I had arrangements with my brother who said he would take my dog if there were ever any issues. I would also often take my dog to work with me. When I asked if I should find different placement for my King Charles Cavalier I was always told no, that things were fine.

Home away from home

This property was like my home away from home for 3 months. I had all the comforts of home all there. I was able to make home cooked meals, do laundry and just relax in a quiet, peaceful environment. There is a beautiful, private outdoor area that looks out into a wooded area. I always had a close place to park. The area is safe and secure. J was a fantastic hostess. I barely knew she was there. She responded to my texts right away whenever I needed something. She was friendly and shared information about tourist spots to visit. I would rent this property again.
