Do Not Recommend
I recently stayed at this property, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The location was incredibly inconvenientit sits off the highway up a steep, dangerous driveway. On top of that, the neighbor at the time was consistently loud; there were disruptive guests next door, which made it hard to relax. And when it came time to move out, the landlord charged excessive cleaning fees and very unreasonable about withholding more than half of the deposit. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Save your money & stay elsewhere.
I understand your concerns, but the deductions from the security deposit are not negotiable. When you vacated the home, there was a significant amount of trash left inside the property, which is not a typical move-out condition and is not consistent with the expectation that tenants remove their belongings and clean up after themselves.
I also want to clarify that Prescott is a mountain community, and the home sits on a hill, which is part of its natural setting and appeal. The hillside location is a normal feature of the property and does not change the tenants responsibility to leave the home clean and free of trash or damage.
In addition, bedding was damaged and had to be replaced. The condition of the home required excessive cleaning beyond normal wear and tear, resulting in additional cleaning and replacement costs deducted from the deposit.
I provided photos documenting the trash, damage, and condition of the home at move-out. These photos support the itemized deductions from the deposit.
For these reasons, the deductions for trash removal, excessive cleaning, and replacement of damaged items will stand. There will be no further negotiation regarding these damages. Thank you, Alexa

Hidden Gem
I love this studio. Everything was in good condition. It is near everything, shopping, restaurants, downtown, and hiking trails. Watson and Willow Lake. A is a great host and responds quickly.
