Perfect location and great long-term stay

Great place, perfect for a long stay. The house is very comfortable and ideally located, within walking distance to the ocean and between UCSD and downtown. Jan was a great host, always available and helpful. I had an excellent three-month stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Best Host and Amazing Place

Jan is incredible and so is her place. She was very respectful, clean, attentive, and understood how busy I was as a medical student. She takes such good care of her place, and I love how clean and tidy everything is. The neighborhood is amazing. It's quiet, extremely safe, and all the neighbors are very welcoming. You are also approximately a 5 minute walk away from the water and the view is absolutely incredible. It was truly a privilege to be with Jan for this month and to live in such a well-kept place. I am grateful to have had this opportunity. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a room in San Diego.

Seaside escape

Nice, small 1 bedroom with shared bath. Homeowner Jan works from home & present 80% of time. She is friendly & apartment is Quiet, walking distance to ocean, shops and parks. Nice neighbors.

Sweet Jan is the best!

J will forever be listed in my phone as Sweet J. She is an incredibly welcoming host and an excellent roommate. Her place is in a great location and it's a very quick walk to the water to watch sunsets. Safe neighborhood. Easy parking. Highly recommend!!

oh sweet La Jolla and Jan

Where do I start, not only is this location of this unit phenomenal but jan is a warm and wonderful person to stay with! The apartment was welcoming, clean and comfortable, definitely felt like home. The walk to the beach is 2 minutes I mean I spent every night watching the sunset, coast side. The neighborhood has cute shops, great food and delicious coffee (dripz, my favorite) The parking is convenient as well as laundry. Overall I loved my stay and would absolutely stay here again. I was sad to go in the first place and miss those views and morning birds and of course jan. **highly recommended :)

Fantastic Stay by the Ocean!

The location of this place is perfect! Its a 2 minute walk to a gorgeous spot overlooking the ocean and cliffs. Only about a 10 minute walk to a bunch of shops, restaurants, yoga, and bars in bird rock. Its also a super short ride to one of my favorite ocean walks in San Diego in La Jolla, which also has a ton of shops/bars/food. J is also an amazing host! She is super cool/ fun and very active with a fun lifestyle and very friendly/kind. The apartment is very comfortable and had very welcoming vibes. It felt like home and I was very happy there and am glad I met J. All around a great stay with good vibes!

comfortable living

I'm very lucky to have found such a comfortable, welcoming space so close to the beach. There's a convenient walking/bike trail behind the apartment, and the place is quite close to a lot of restaurants and shops (definitely check out Bird Rock Coffee Roasters). J is such an inviting person and easy person to live with. I would stay here again if the opportunity arises!

awesome place by the beach

Such a charming place. Jan is very welcoming, kind, and upbeat. I really enjoyed staying with her. Her home is just a few blocks from a small beach, and a quick bike ride to Windansea Beach. Enjoyed the sunsets and the mellowness of her home. (:
