Home away from home
I stayed for about 7 weeks for a rotation at UK. The place was close to everything I needed, including grocery stores and a wonderful farmer's market that happens every Sunday within walking distance. Steven is a wonderful and kind individual who always made me feel welcome and asked me if I had everything that I needed. There is space to park a car, and the garden is well maintained (Steven loves his flowers haha). As a solo 24 y.o. female, I felt very safe and would highly recommend staying here again!
My new found family
My stay here was lovely . Steven made ne feel like family . Everything is the best of all . If you want to Live like a family and not just like a normal tenant this the place to be . I'm really gonna miss staying here . This has been my 2nd home . I encourage everybody to stay here . I assure , you won't regret a even a penny spent . Adios !!!
A Home Away From Home
Steven was a fantastic Landlord. He opened his home for me and always sought to figure out if I was doing alright both in comfort or daily experience at work. This truly felt like a Home you could stay in with both security and safety. I would recommend anyone wishing to stay in Lexington for either short term or long term seek out a stay at Anderson Manor, for a truly "Home away from Home" experience.
Felt like (my old Kentucky) home
I stayed at Steven's for six months, having traveled all the way from Italy for a research period at the UK. It was a wonderful time, and I was really sad to leave when my period came to an end. I felt like being at home throughout all my stay, with Steven always there to help me and to make sure everything was fine. He is one of a kind; he does for sure know what the word hospitality means. The house is well-furnished, and there is plenty of room for personal space. At 5 mins walking distance, there is a bus stop where the Lextran line 13 comes every hour to go to the UK campus (through Harrodsburg road); it used to be 25 minutes in total for me to get to the office. The Anderson Manor is the kind of place I would recommend to any friend: I am going to miss it!
Will Always Return!
Steven is one of the nicest people I have ever met and he makes the place feel like home while I was there. This is a place I will always try to return to if I get another assignment in Lexington again. One of the most welcoming places ive stayed at so far and met some incredible people. This was more than just a place to hid in your room after every shift.
Amazing!
I felt welcome from the moment I walked in! I made some wonderful connections here. Steven will make sure you have everything you need and more. He puts in a great deal of effort to make everyone as comfortable and happy as possible. The location is very convenient to get anywhere you need to within a short drive time. As a woman I was initially nervous about male roommates but I genuinely couldn't have felt safer. Would come back anytime, in fact I was sad to leave.
Home away from home
I stayed around 2 months with Steven and couldn't have been happier. His house is very cozy and welcoming. Steven is one of the nicest people I've met and helped me out in so many ways. There was a time where my car broke down and in the shop for a week and Steven took me to work multiple occasions. He will take you in as family but don't take his kindness for granted. I would highly recommend living with steven if you can be respectful to him, his house and the others living there.
Would recommend
I stayed here for 6 months and would happily repeat the experience! I felt welcome from the moment I moved in. The location is extremely convenient for working at the hospital. The house was spacious and clean, my room was comfortable, and the company was amazing! St was extremely responsive to any issues that arose and just generally pleasant to be around. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Lexington!
Centralized to all main hospitals
Plenty of space, and a very nice environment. S is very accommodating and a genuine friend.
Homely place and a superb host!
I stayed at the Anderson Manor for 3 months and S was hospitable, welcoming and the personification of southern hospitality! The house felt homely and the other guests were really nice too. It was spacious with two levels, two living rooms, two kitchens. The area was nice as well and felt really safe and clean.
Wonderful Property
This is a great property to stay in if youre traveling to the Kentucky area. S makes it like a home away from home. The rooms are big so you have enough space for all your stuff and if you ever need anything, hes always there to help. Its a safe environment for females. Its also located only eight minutes away from the hospital, all the grocery stores and fast food restaurants. I would recommend staying at this property.
the best home in Lexington
S is a wonderful person and really great host! He provides a home far from home. Honestly one of the best time of my life! The property is perfect and the way Steve has decorated the house is just wholesome. Highly recommend if you are planning to work at Uky as well.
Most Friendly, Safe, and Comfortable Stay
Plenty of space at a very convenient location in the city. Well supplied with all my basic needs. Friendly host who is very active to help make my stay comfortable. I have live here for 9 months and I will be missing living at this house. Very close to downtown, University of Kentucky, and quick access to the New Circle (Kentucky State highway 4). I was very lucky to have found this place.
Clean, Comfortable & Close
Just like the title says, this place was clean, comfortable and close, as in close to the hospitals in the Lexington, KY area. This is perfect if you are travel staff. Owner knows nursing and travel nursing so he is easy to get along with. I stayed there 10 months with no issues. Washer and dryer are on site, and the Wifi is decent. Highly recommended.
Anderson Manor
S house was a seemless and very relaxed place to settle in for the 4 months I was in Lexington. The location was great and the house was always clean and quiet. Everybody was very mindful of the schedules of others in the house. S was a great host, was extremely hospitible and always made sure I had everything I needed while I was there. I highly recommend Anderson Manor!
Great Accommodations, Greater Host
I was welcomed from the moment I walked into A M. My temporary living space was more than sufficient and storage wasn't an issue. I did live with other professionals but we were never in each other's way. The bathroom was shared by multiple guests but it was always clean and well-kept throughout my entire stay, as was the ENTIRE house. I had room for food items and laundry was never a chore to do as the washer and dryer was available any time I needed it. The location of the manor was excellent which made for an easy commute to other facilities. Steven was a great host from beginning to end. He is a great guide as far as eateries and places to go and things to do in the city. I truly couldn't have asked for a better living situation. I HIGHLY recommend A M if a traveler decides to come to Lexington.
Housing Review
I genuinely enjoyed my stay at S'S house. He is very welcoming and timely with responses about info regarding the house. Also, I was comfortable staying there as a 20-something single female. The house is well-located relative to most hospitals, as well as groceries, other shops, and such. Tenants also have designated parking spaces for the house which is nice and convenient. The house/room was clean and access to laundry on-site is definitely a plus!
Steven’s House
I stayed in this house for three months. It was one of the best experience I had when I did my travel job there. The owner was an incredible individual. He was very kind, patient, understanding, and helpful to me. One time when I needed a ride to work and it was raining really heavy, he offered to drive me there. The room I stayed in was very clean, S made sure everything I needed during my stay was available. He sets his rules and expects everyone to be respectful towards it. I absolutely loved my stay at S's place, I would recommend to anyone that visits Lexington.
Pleasant
Great and secured place to live as a student / travel nurses . I lived this place throughout my assignment with University of Kentucky and I had no problem. Nice and good people I lived in the house with , great personalities and good vibes . Ill recommend this place to anyone that would want to travel to Kentucky/ Lexington to work or for school .
Everything I needed!
As a student in need of a place to stay during an out-of-town rotation, I found a temporary home-away-from-home here with everything I needed to be successful and comfortable. The host is gracious and communicated well, and the location provided ease and close proximity for my daily commute.
Absolutely loved staying here!
My mom and I worked night shift in Lexington three days a week. The house felt like home which is so nice when you have to be away from your real home. Steven is one of the best people I know. Hes very understanding about work schedules and keeping the house clean. If I go back to night shift I would definitely want to stay there again!
Private and hospitable
The owner keeps the house very clean. I have complete privacy and ample parking. I could not ask for a better or friendlier owner. I work night shift and the house is very quiet, allowing me to sleep during the day without interruption. Price is excellent and worth every penny.
