Old Village - Shem Creek Studio Garage Apartment

Nice, quiet, and close to the hospital!

In a nice area. Close to restaurants and other area attractions like the USS Yorktown and Fort Sumter. Close to the hospital for travel jobs. I was going to do one travel assignment and ended up staying for two. It had everything I needed and plenty of space to relax after work. Apartment was very nice and clean, and the backporch had great views.

Best place I've ever lived!

My stay at A's apartment was absolutely spectacular! The apartment was equipped with anything you may need for a medium-term stay such as mine (3 months). The space was larger than it looks in photos and exquisitely designed - the floor plan was open, yet the bathroom has its own sliding door, and the bedroom feels sufficiently separated from the living/kitchen space. The view from the apartment's dedicated patio is incredible, and the views could also be seen from the 3 bay windows above the bed. It felt like a vacation home! The neighborhood is idyllic - quiet and peaceful, but with plenty of wildlife and nature around to enjoy. A was an exceptional landlord - very kind, understanding, and overall a joy to interact with. If you ever get the opportunity to stay here, don't pass it up!

Perfect Place to Stay!

This is a perfect place to stay, literally. Fabulous location. Charming exterior with a beautiful view of the marsh and Shem Creek in the distance. Short walk to the Old Village business district, and even closer to the Shem Creek restaurants. The interior is very well done, with high end finishes. The owner clearly put the thought in to the little details that make a stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Alison was great! A Gem on Shem!

Highly recommend 3 month-long stay in this super posh, brand new apartment in Mount Pleasant thats backyard seats the views of the harbor :) very comfortable (purple mattress), exquisitely clean, perfectly located to the restaurants, groceries. I stayed here alone, but Alison and her dog Sadye made me feel so welcome! And told me all the good eats. Wonderful neighborhood- active, lots of places to walk, ride bikes and get a glimpse of the ocean. Private drive, private entrance! All the views!
