Wonderful place!!
Hidden gem!! This was my first time to area and I found the best place to stay for my travel assignment. The apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable and content. It is cozy and quiet. I loved that the library, downtown restaurants /shops, and the beach is right down the street. Safety is incredibly important to me and this place checked that box. The neighborhood is incredibly safe. Parking was perfect with right out by the front gate. Nancy is a wonderful hostess and made me feel completely comfortable and made sure I had everything I needed to make my stay wonderful. She is an incredible hair stylist as too!! The best hair color I have ever had. Huge bonus :). I would 100 % recommend this cute apartment. If I ever come back, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
A home across the border
I'm from Canada and this is my first time taking on a travel nurse assignment in the United States. I'm very, very happy to have stayed in this place for my first assignment. It was home away from home and I will always have fond memories of staying here. The views are stunning and the beach is only a few minutes walk. The grocery store is less than a 5 minute drive. Nancy is one of the greatest, friendliest hosts I've ever met. She made me feel welcome and made sure I had everything I need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. I have to mention she is also a great hairstylist. She did my mother-in-law's hair when she came to visit and she was a very, very satisfied and happy customer. She is still asking about her today. It was an awesome 3 months. Thank you, N!
Cutest place in Edmonds
Nancys place was a great little home away from home. Gorgeous views of the sound and a short walk to downtown or to the water. Comfortable and spacious. Nancy is a super landlady and provides a lot of great amenities. She is also really knowledgeable about the area and surrounding areas, so if you need to know where something is or a great place to eat or hike all you have to do is ask!!
Consider yourself very fortunate to live here!
I loved living in downtown Edmonds! So close to the marina and beach, this community has lots to offer, like dining, shops, culture, and beautiful views. N created a beautiful and comfortable place for me to live. I considered it a place I could escape from the grit of Seattle and work. The apartment had everything I needed and was clean, neat, and well-stocked with basic supplies. N was attentive and available. I would definitely live here again.
Absolutely a gem of a place--Had everything I needed! LOCATION is unbeatable.
I have stayed at places around the world as well as hosted via airbnb with impeccable reviews. I have high expectations with regard to cleanliness, amenities, location and appropriately stocked kitchen and bathroom. This place has it all. While remodeling my home, I needed a place longer term. The Edmonds Bowl (this location) is wonderfully walkable-- to every possible cafe, bistro, pub, bar, hair salon, yoga/pilates studios, day spa, ice cream, gelato, movie theatre, antiques, art, farmers market. Centrally located, this home is particularly easy to get OUT of the bowl because it's at the upper rim saving 5 minutes off of any commute/destination This home is at the junction of the Bowl giving you easy access to 5 Corners, Swedish Hospital, neighboring Esperance, Woodway, International District-Northend, Firdale Village and Costco. The host is friendly, kind and helpful. Wifi is strong, kitchen well stocked to cook, tv in living room with comfy sofa and eating space.Ample parking.
Perfect Place to Stay
Lived here while working for the University of Washington during the latter part of the Pandemic. My first impression was how the homeowner, Nancy, was so accommodating and kind. This was my first travel assignment and I was nervous and unsure of the situation. Nancy put my fears to rest and made me feel at home and I felt assured I could ask for anything I had questions with. I loved the room. It is close to grocery stores, restaurants, the Kingston ferry, walking trails to do exercise, and a nice park by the ferry landing where I ate lunch on nice days. I wholeheartedly recommend Nancys invitation to stay here. Its a beautiful place with a great host and her family!
