Clean and Convenient

The property is in a very nice community and is conveniently located near many restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, shops and walking trails. The place was very clean and had all the kitchen utensils for me to make a nice meal. There was plenty of parking and the homeowners were very respectful of my privacy. I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and Safe

The place was close to my assignment at Holy Cross Hospital and was also close to everything, grocery stores, restaurants etc. The basement apartment was comfortable and equipped with your basic needs and is in a very safe neighborhood. Although the laundry was shared, Lourdes and I agreed on a day and it wasn't an issue at all. Her husband was also very responsive to issues with the backyard gate which was difficult to close and lock. Casting from my iPhone was easy. My only suggestion is for the basement unit to have its own thermostat. I was constantly cold. If they accommodated me in the basement they wind up getting hot upstairs! I wound up wearing sweat bottoms and hoodies the entire time I was there. I enjoyed my stay there and liked the host family a lot! I highly recommend this basement apartment .

Wonderful Stay with Helpful and Attentive Host

I couldnt recommend staying here more! The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood and has its own private entrance. The yard was wonderful for letting my two dogs romp and play in, and the apartment was very comfortable. If you like cooking, the oven and stovetop are a huge plus! The host was very attentive and easy to communicate, and it was always nice chatting with her. All in all a great stayI would highly recommend this apartment and host!

Nice stay

Had a wonderful stay during my contract traveling with my dog. Perfect space 1 person and the fenced yard with the patio is a great addition to allow for some time to relax in the sun outside. Lourdes and her family were very attentive if I ever needed help and I would totally recommend this nice furnished basement apartment.

Lourdess basement

L's rental space has everything you need: stove/oven, refrigerator, small storage space in the kitchen, a large bedroom with a television which I casted from my iPad, the shower water pressure shower was amazing! The washer and dryer is shared with the household but i let her know ahead of time and it was mine to use for the day. She did let me do a walk through before booking the rental which was comforting. It was just enough space for myself and my fur baby. L was very timely in her responses if I ever needed anything. She graciously permitted me to use her backyard to let my dog run around and stretch her legs which was greatly appreciated. The neighborhood is quiet and not too far from downtown Silver Spring, the interstate, or shops. My assignment was unexpectedly cancelled and L was very accommodating and understanding of this as I had to cut my time in her space short. If given the opportunity to work in the Silver spring area again, Id seek out L.

Highly Recommend this Comfortable and Convenient Apartment

This apartment was a perfect place for me to spend four months. The place is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. It is very private, with a separate walkway and gate access to the private entrance on the backside of the house. The bed is super comfy, and I appreciated having access to the laundry facility. L and F are the homeowners who were accessible and respectful of my space and privacy. In addition, they have a well-maintained and relaxing backyard. The unit is on the first floor, totally above ground, with two large, sunny windows in the bedroom. I recommend the unit to traveling professionals wanting a nice place in a residential neighborhood with lots of choices for dining nearby.
