The House is on conservation land so it is very private and peaceful.
Birds, wildlife, aspen trees, meadows, wetlands and only 4 mile from downtown Whitefish. Kalispell is 10 miles, Whitefish mountain resort 15 minutes, glacier national park 30 miles. Lots of lakes, biking, and hiking close by.
The Meadows house is a private home with a lower living quarter with large windows looking into the Meadows.

Great Place to stay with a very caring and generous landlady
This place is a real gem A lovely and comfortable cabin/house in the middle of the woods. I saw different wildlife like deers, birds, owls etc. Inside and outside it is beautiful and amazing. It was great spending the winter here as the snow actually enhanced the dream-like quality of this location. T took me and my roommates and my co-travelers for snow-shoeing into the frozen marshes, to the frozen lake near this place and even in the back of this house a few times. The inside of the house is very spacious and T provided us with everything we need in a fully furnished rental. She even rented her truck to me and my roommate so that we would be safer driving in the snow. This is indeed a home away from home. I strongly recommend this house in the woods (though just in from the road).
