Garden Apartment with Private Entrance Near Hospitals

Amazing rental and hosts!!!

I had the privilege of staying here for over a year as I worked as a travel RN in the Bay Area. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and well stocked. This is a walk-out basement unit with a beautiful and private backyard with a great patio and garden. I enjoyed the peaceful space in the backyard every day! The house is in a very safe and quiet part of town, with ample parking and beautiful views of the Bay Area in a short walk. Most of all, the property owners are some of the most gracious and accommodating people Ive ever met. They made sure that the apartment had all the amenities for someone in the travel medicine world. They were great at communicating and following through with everything. Leaving this place was was not easy! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Best find ever!

I cant say enough good things about this beautiful garden apartment and the amazing hosts! I lived there for almost a year (10/1/23 to 8/31/24) and it felt like home. It is very clean and cozy with all the amenities you need. The kitchenette has a hot plate, air fryer (my favorite), microwave that duals as an oven, coffee pot and a small refrigerator. Everything you need to cook! It also has a really nice smart TV, cozy fake fireplace and a washer/dryer. The real charm is the full size floor to ceiling windows looking out to your own private garden with a fig tree and lots of beautiful flowers. The neighborhood is super safe and makes for great walks and, most importantly the hosts are beyond kind and helpful. They were so attentive and just lovely people. This place is your home away from home! I am going to miss it.

A great place to stay

We spent 10 months in Oakland on assignment. First we stayed in the Alameda Marina area which was very nice. Second we stayed in the Lake Merritt area, a different vibe but we had secured parking, very important there so we felt secure. Finally we were fortunate enough to land at A's in Piedmont. This was like winning the trifecta. The unit is very nice and with all the windows it always felt like the outside was inside. It is very quiet, there was absolutely no city noise to disturb us. The neighborhood is quiet, all single family homes, and street parking was never an issue. The bed was the most comfortable in the world and having a washer / dryer in the unit was icing on the cake. I'm going to replace my fireplace at home with a similar electric one, very efficient and cozy. A and S were very thoughtful hosts, always checking to make sure everything was working out for us. Our comfort was their concern. They made it hard to leave Oakland.

Amanda is the best host

First of all, A has replied to my message on the site within an hour. She then answered all my questions and even said she'll bring in another chest drawers for my clothes ! She then suggested we'd do a video call so she can show me everything... and she did !!! She walked me through the property and showed me everything in such detail. The area is quiet and it's very privet. Perfect 1bd

Easy, Comfortable Living

I had the opportunity to stay at this amazing property for 6 months. The neighborhood around it is beautiful. The property is quiet, private, and light-filled. It has everything you will need, plus a beautiful backyard garden space. I would definitely stay here again!
