Great unit and location!
Travel nurse here, I loved this unit. I extended my contract and Dale was very accommodating of the extension. The area is very safe and easy to walk in. Location is great to be near Mass Ave. Dave the handyman was super helpful with minor fixes as well. The garage was beneficial for my car especially in the winter. All the amenities are super nice! Would stay here again!
Great stay
I had a great stay living here and super convenient while working at IU Methodist! It was a safe area to walk my dog, plenty of off street parking! Super nice being close to Mass Ave and all the restaurants/shops there too
carriage house first floor
Travel nurse. Perfect place when working at Methodist. Walkable area so great for dogs. Short drive to dog park. Off street parking spot. Bed comfy and a king size. Dale was quick to respond when needed. Definitely will want to stay here if i get another contract.
Great spot to stay!
Stayed here during an internship I had in Indianapolis. The location and apartment were ideal for me - in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to Mass Ave and other downtown attractions. The landlord, Dale, and the handyman, Dave, were easily contactable and were quick to sort a couple of very minor issues I had near the start of the tenancy. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in Indy!
Old historic quiet Neighborhood
A very pleasant quiet neighborhood with plenty of free parking on a street with very little traffic. The apartment is still one mile to downtown Indy and a couple to the hospitals. D is a great guy to work with and the lease is very friendly to healthcare travelers. After 18 weeks my contract at the hospital ended with two weeks notice, and there is a clause in the lease for ending early. I havent seen that before but I needed it. The WiFi is strong with no issues there. The heating and cooling worked well. I would stay again if back in Indy!
Nicely Located Carriage House
I stayed at this property for two months and, overall, had a good experience. I was the first to stay here since it was renovated, so there were a few issues with the appliances not working correctly. Whenever I did have a problem, D was quick to respond and there was someone there to fix it that night or the next day. The A/C went out one night, and he offered to pay for a hotel, so he really does want his tenants to have a good experience. The house was located in a nice neighborhood and easy to get to downtown.
Unit #3
I am a travel nurse and I have been renting Unit#3 for over two years. I am pleased with the property. It has everything I need and it is very close to my job. The property has its own private entrance and its in a quiet neighborhood which I appreciate since I work nights. The internet is really fast which is a bonus because other properties do not have fast internet. I also have a Rottweiler and D was very kind and let me bring my dog with no problem. D is understanding and willing to work with you to make sure you have the best stay at his property. He is professional and is available 24/7. D is the handyman and hes very sweet and always willing to help you in anything he can whether its a lost key or changing the air filters. Anything I need they always respond quickly and take care of it. Im pleased and would recommend this property to anyone. This is why I have stayed for so long at this property. I have never had any issues here and its my 2nd home away from home.
Travelers Beware
All he cares about is your money. I walked in on day 1 to a DIRTY unit even the inside of the door was covered in dirt from the Reno, spiders everywhere, dishwasher/washing machine not hooked up properly, and shower not draining. His response: call the maintenance man hes responsible for everything. While the maintenance man is very kind and does what he can do to fix any issues, I continued to have problems. 1. Being told to leave the unit unlocked while I was at work because the wifi needed to be fixed instead of waiting until I was going to be there. Mind you my dog is in there. 2. The sewage backed up into the shower and overflowed into the kitchen and living room days in a row from a collapsed pipe and being told 2 hours before I had to be at work to figure out where I was going to stay for a few days. Requested my cleaning fee back, still havent received it. It is clear he doesnt actually set sight on his properties to ensure they are ready for a tenant to live in them.
