Lovely Spot!
I stayed with here for two months last summer, and Rina was gracious enough to host me again for one month while I searched for permanent housing in Seattle. The room, and house is gorgeous, cozy, and clean, and she even let me share her kitchen space and some pantry spices when I cooked. If you stay during the summer months, you might be lucky enough to try fruit from her abundant garden! U District shopping is close by, as well as several buses, so getting around was no trouble (if you do bring a bike, it is quite hilly, but there are great biking trails close by). Rina is a kind and knowledgeable host, and really helped me feel at home in a new city.
4 months Seattle
I staid in this apartment for 4 months working Montlake Medical center. Bus stops are nearby (I used the bike), same is for shopping and dining opportunities. I enjoyed the place as it was spacious, clean and well equipped. The view room is a special highlight of this property and R is great to communicate with both for business and private. I was sharing the apartment with another nurse, which worked great.
I wish I could live here forever
R is one of the most fantastic hosts I have ever encountered. She was so kind and even made delicious meals that are to die for. I hope you are lucky enough to be there when she offers up her delectable scones. The view from her home is outstanding. Just a couple minutes walk from the Burke Gilman bike trail. I would bike to Seattle Childrens everyday and it only took 17 min which was faster than driving super close to groceries and restaurants. You have to try the poke place while you are there
