This is an absolutely great space! The extra room off the master bedroom is EVERYTHING. My fiance works from home + spent most of his time back there. It is walking distance to the bay and the beach which makes for a great time. The courtyard is cute and gets sun parts of the day. Both bedrooms are a good size and have enough space for anything you need. We stayed there for 3 months and ran into no issues. Your downstairs neighbor is absolutely wonderful and never has any complaints. It is a true mission beach gem.
We loved this place so much. It was just steps to the bay and beach. The apartment had everything you needed- kitchen supplies, bikes, beach chairs. It even has two living spaces, which we loved. Damon was a great, and more than helpful if we ever needed him! I hope to stay here again one day.
Awesome apartment! Perfect location. Decorated wonderfully. Fully stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved the Bonus Room!
I stayed in this lovely south mission beach property for 4 months and it was the most beautiful and comfortable rental I have ever stayed in. The location is quiet, and you are steps to both the beach and the bay. It has everything you need and then some with a sunroom, well appointed kitchen, comfortable living room, gas fireplace, and two very spacious bedrooms. With a boogie board and beach chairs in a private garage, D has really thought of everything. Perfect for a short-term or long-term stay. It was very hard to leave!
Had a fantastic stay at this property. Super nice and updated and right in between the beach and the bay. The landlord was also super nice and responsive to all messages. Would recommend to anyone looking for a long term rental!
Cannot beat this location in south mission beach! Steps from both the ocean and the bay! Damon was the perfect host - very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Close to all the action but on a quiet street with the sweetest neighbors! San Luis Rey place was truly a home away from home! 10/10! Cannot say enough good things about this place.

I grew up in San Diego and decided to come back to San Diego in 2001 after many years of college. My wife and I have two kids and love the mild weather of San Diego. I enjoy outdoor activities such as surfing, tennis, golf, biking and snowboarding.
