Wonderful

Tina and her husband Rowan are seriously the most welcoming people ever super easy to vibe with, and they went all out to make us feel totally at home, and honestly? They nailed it. The place has everything you could need, and we slept so good there. The neighbors even started feeling like family, and we were only there for 2 months! Great area too we picked it cause its right in the middle of everything awesome San Diego has to offer. Wed totally crash there again in a heartbeat. Thanks a bunch!

Loved loved loved living here

I've rented many properties and The Flat has definitely been one of my favorites. The outdoor deck space was perfect to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset, not to mention grill access. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook. And the bedroom and bathroom were clean with plenty of storage space. T And R were extremely accommodating and I loved getting to know them and their neighbors. Such a wonderful family and neighborhood, would highly recommend The Flat to anyone needing housing in SD!

My stay here was perfect! I was here for 2 months while traveling around and working remote. The counter made a great cozy place for me to work and I had everything I needed during my stay. The entire family was sweet and I enjoyed staying! Neighborhood felt very safe and had plenty of parking always. I highly recommend staying here! So easy to get around from here too!

Perfection!

As a single girl and student living alone was a big anxiety for me and due to my circumstance, unavoidable. The FLAT was such a safe haven! The neighborhood was inviting and safe with short commutes to grocery stores, restaurants, mission bay, and more! The Ellis family was incredible at communicating and being more than kind and accommodating. They left an adorable goodie basket that was so thoughtful and kind.The FLAT itself was perfect! Amazing sunlight, comfortable bed, new appliances, and of course such a great view from the deck! I wish I could have stayed here longer and could not recommend it highly enough!

Look no further than The Flat!

Honestly where do I even begin.... as a traveler on my very first assignment I was so nervous about housing. But from the minute I came across The Flat and met Tina and Rowan all my worries evaporated. On move-in day I was met with the warmest hospitality I have ever experienced in my life; the space in absolutely pristine condition and a little basket of goodies was waiting for me in the kitchen. It is the perfect size for a single traveler, with all the accommodations and utilities you could need (and I like to cook). Location-wise, the area is super quiet and safe and just a short drive or bike ride from PB. If I ever had any questions, Tina or Rowan were always a text/call away and attended to any needs quickly. If you are the type of traveler that enjoys their autonomy and living in their own space, with the comfort of having support nearby whenever needed, look no further than The Flat. I could not more enthusiastically recommend Tina and Rowan's space to my fellow travelers.
