Highly recommend if staying in SF

My experience while staying at Phalla's property for a six-month work contract in SF was great. Certainly the neighborhood was nice and quiet, room clean and spacious, but most of all, like the other reviewers have noted here, Phalla's hospitality as a landlord is second to none. She is warm, friendly, generous, and always tries her best to ensure her tenants are enjoying their stay. If I do land in SF again, I'll be sure to contact her first thing to check if a room is available.

Very kind landlord and unit has everything you need

This property is very clean and has everything you need. The landlord is very responsive to your needs. Had to call her late a couple of times when i left my keys inside the unit and she was always responsive. Glad to have a landlord thats very helpful.

First time working in SF

I stayed at this apartment for 6 months during my travel assignment at one of the local hospitals. I chose not to bring my car, so parking wasnt an issue for me. My arrangement was a bedroom in a 3b/2b apartment, sharing a bathroom with another tenant. This place is very convenient with public transportation. The closest grocery store is in walking distance. The landlord makes sure that if you opt to sharing the bath, maid service is provided. Because this living experience was so positive, I am considering a permanent position in the area. Definitely recommend to others that are looking.

FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE!!

My experience while staying at Phallas property for a travel nurse assignment was nothing short of amazing. Not only was the room clean and in great condition Phallas hospitality was something I never experienced from a landlord. Phallas communication and follow up is very quick. Phalla also makes herself available for any question/concern. Phalla also makes the occasion drop by to make sure everything/everyone is okay and if there is anything needed. If I have another travel nursing assignment in San Francisco, Phalla will be the first person I call for housing.

Home away from home

This place has been my home during my stay in San Francisco for a year, the place is clean, quiet, close to a variety of restaurants, stores, gas stations, bus stops, churches, and malls. There is also a nearby farmers market every weekend that is in walking distance. Property owner is warm, friendly, and accommodating to reasonable requests. She makes sure that the tenants are comfortable. I highly recommend this place for travelling professionals.

Great host and awesome property.

Awesome owner and very caring. Safe neighborhood, close to park. The area is very clean. Street parking but never had problem finding a spot. Extremely accommodating host. Very responsive. Will stay here again.

A MUST STAY, UNBELIEVABLE HOSPITALITY, BEST LANDLORD

I don't even know where to begin. This review is long overdue. This rental is truly amazing. It is in a great location, very quiet. Easy street parking. The access to the highway is amazing and if you travel a lot, the airport could not be a closer drive! There is plenty of food in the surrounding neighborhoods and plenty to enjoy including parks, turf soccer fields, a library and so much more. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Mrs. P the landlord is honestly one of the most genuine and kindest people I have ever met. She took me in as if I was her own child and was always there for any needs I may have had. I was finishing up medical school, and she came to my graduation with flowers!!! I also had to study for my board exam near the end of May 2022 and she let me finish out my stay in her own home. I never met such an amazing person, and I hope every person out there gets a chance to meet Mrs. P. This property is truly a hidden gem! Hope all is well!- Harvey!

Chic, Comfortable & Cozy Rental

Absolutely enjoyed my stay! Fantastic landlord who gives privacy and brings treats to tenants and home cooked meals on occasion! I chose the one bed/one private bath unit with private gated entrance. It had a kitchenette with all modern appliances PLUS a full refrigerator! I loved the comfy sleigh bed, hardwood floors and modern chic bathroom, large smart tv, free internet access, free access to washer and dryer, and security cameras for safety. The location was quiet and "super safe" which is a MUST in San Fran. There is a grocery store in walking distance and several restaurants on the main strip. Public transit is nearby so you are able to catch a bus to Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, and downtown Market St/Union Square with ease. I definitely will be staying here again w/o hesitation! Be sure to ask about other units as there are several to choose from. Good Luck! :-)

San Bruno Apartments

I absolutely loved staying at P's apartment. A friend and I got to share a unit on the 3rd floor and we had everything we needed plus more. Rooms were nice and spacious. Had access to a cleaning lady. P always checked in to see if we needed anything. Parking was a bit of a nuisance but the apartment was clean and safe so definitely worth the parking hassle. Will be staying here again if I get another job in the bay.

I had an amazing stay here in San Francisco thanks to this place and the landlord! She is so welcoming and is very prompt about helping you with anything you may need in the place. The place has all the necessary amenities. Kitchen and laundry are included. I would definitely stay at one of her places again. Less than 10 min drive to UCSF MB. Free Street parking and I had no issues finding a spot. And the bed is super comfortable. Thanks again for everything!

A MUST STAY

I feel very blessed to have stayed here. A cute little space super close to multiple hospitals. I worked at Kaiser SF on Geary and it was an easy 15 min drive to and from work. The area is very safe and walkable to the grocery store, very drivable to downtown and other fun areas to explore. Free street parking! While the street does fill up, I never had a problem finding a parking space. I didnt know anyone in the area so having Phalla as my landlord was a blessing. She makes you feel like family and really welcomes you and makes you feel comfortable. One time I found my car to have a flat tire in the work parking structure, she came and picked me up and helped me figure it out. She is an angel, thanks for a wonderful stay P!

THE BEST Place I have ever stayed in!

This property is literally the best place I have ever stayed in! 1. Clean and Comfortable Unit! Complete with all the essentials from Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen, and Bathroom 2. Strategically located: near the hospitals, grocery stores, restaurants, gasoline stations, drug stores 3. Safe neighborhood, Safe Property (ALL DOORS have AUTOMATIC LOCKS, CCTV Cameras are all over the building and outside the building too) 4. BEST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!!! Ms. P, the Property Owner treated me as a family member! From the day that she picked me up from the airport to the entire time I stayed at her property, she was literally supportive and responsive to all of my needs 24/7. I AM NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAID 24/7! What a generous person she is! She was genuinely helpful to me with all of my concerns and was always meeting my needs and was always doing extra miles to help! She always looks after my comfort and safety. She always makes sure the unit is clean and well sanitized!

P the landlord is one of the most kind, selfless individuals! she is now like my west coast mother! always bringing snacks and making sure all your needs are met! very responsive always and she will even drive you to the airport or costco! couldnt have asked for a better living experience for my first assignment in san francisco!

Perfect property and landlord!!!

Everything about my stay has been perfect!! P is amazing, super friendly and helpful; making me feel at home and providing everything I needed and more(ride/pickup from the airport, meals, and shopping at Costco) The apartment is newly renovated and sparkling clean. Its only a 15 min drive to UCSF, which was a plus for me. Off street parking is available and the neighborhood is quiet and safe.

Amazing Unit and Great Location

This unit is a steal. Location is conveniently located near major freeways. This location is walking distance to great and affordable eats. It is walking distance to a local grocery store. P is quick to respond to any issues that may come up. She is easy to talk to and I couldn't have asked for a better landlady. If you need a stress-free stay during your time in San Francisco, then this is it!

Affordable and amazing stay

The place is clean and newly renovated. Quiet neighborhood, near to bus station, walking distance to a lot of groceries. Freeway is just a few blocks, close to Mclaren park, Twin Peak, and small parks around. Phalla has been beyond helpful and responsive. Trustworthy and generally a great person. I came here to the city without knowing anybody. I and Phalla hit it off right away. I consider her as one of my friends now. She and her family are amazing. They will look out for you. She often changes my car parking just so it's close to the house. She is generous with food, and pretty much anything you need on the property. I hate to give up my room but I will still be renting to her in her other property. It is hard to find a good place to live in, the place is awesome, but most importantly she is a great person to rent with. I cannot stretch it enough how amazing my experience is with her.

Amazing Stay

Phallas home was a great and easy stay for us. I travelled with two kids and everyone was very welcoming. Her brother has a unit downstairs and was beyond helpful with anything. When we parked in the street and there was street cleaning they always reminded us to love the car so we dont get fined. We ultimately we able to park in the garage which was such a blessing. Made life a lot easier rather than having to move the car all the time. The owner, Phalla, was more than responsive. She is a nurse as well and I was surprised at how quick she responded even after she worked night shift. She offered to take me to Costco before I had a membership and even showed me the best trails and parks around the area. All the necessities were provided for and she made sure we always had quarters for the laundry which was in the garage. Super budget friendly place to stay and convenient to everything. Close to freeways and hospitals. Walking distance to a couple parks and a grocery store!
